The public template


gallery contains some content created by Google, but most of it is created by third parties.

Admins can't disable


the public template gallery themselves, but Support can do so upon request (HostedDomain JotSpotInfo. isPublicSite TemplateGallery Enabled = false).

Web Address Mapping

Administrators can create special web address mappings (sub-domains) for certain pages:
1.Click Service settings > Sites > Web Address Mapping tab > Add a new web address. 2.Enter the location of the Site you want to map (e.g. 'ie8-web-address-mapping' above). 3.In the 'Web Address' field, enter the sub-domain you'd like to map it to ('ie8' in the example above). 4.Select Add mapping and follow the instructions provided. Depending on your domain registrar, you may need to make CNAME changes as well.

Note: There is a limit of 100 mappings for Enterprise Sites.

There's no natively supported way to back up a Site or export/import data. However, users can use the Sites Data Liberation Tool to export their Site to a local backup, which can then be imported back into Sites.
