The project has been awarded the Student Leadership Internationalizationawardfrom the Canadian Bureauof International Education in previous yearsand has been successfulinestablishing an internationalreputationfor academic excellence and innovation. The project has become a Glendon College tradition, this years symposiumwillthe18thannualsuchsymposium. Amongst the distinguished guests to attend the conference this year is Chung KwangKyun, the Consul GeneraloftheRepublicofKoreainToronto.Theobjective ofthissymposiumistoexplorewaysthatcanstrengthen KoreanCanadian relations, aswell as foster intellectual dialogueamongstudents,academicscholars,government officials,nongovernmentalorganization,membersof the KoreanCanadian community and members of the businesscommunity.Hencethediscussionstotakeplace will encompass various issues related to the Korean Peninsula.TheKoreaSymposium2013promisestobean exciting day filled with enriching knowledge that will widenourhorizons.
