Editorial Roles Campus Correspondent (Editorial) Primary editorial liason between nationals and section editors.

Responsible for devising and marinating the editorial calendar weekly, managing section editors, writers, and photographers, and giving the final edit on all content to be sent for uploading. Responsible for writing the weekly Events and Poll section. Expected to organize and facilitate a weekly Executive board meeting to go over editorial concerns. Assumes the de fact role of editor-in-chief of an online magazine, and all responsibilities that come with that. News Editor (2) Section is comprised of general feature stories on an array of topics. Editors are responsible for assigning and setting the weekly editorial calendar (typically 4 stories), communicating with writers, and editing articles. Because this is the largest HC section, both news editors need to communicate with one another well, stay organized and punctual, and be constantly on the look-out for compelling and relevant News stories. Campus Celebrity Editor Section is comprised of profile stories featuring interesting individuals from the Wake Forest community. Celebs can be male or female and include students, professors, faculty members and guest artists/speakers - they just have to stand out in one way or another. Editor is responsible for creating the editorial calendar, communicating with writers, editing articles and keeping her eyes and ears open for potential celebs around campus. Blogs Editor Responsible for assigning, maintaining, and editing the semesters blogs set to run every week. At the beginning of every semester, this editor needs to organize what blogs will run for the semester on a weekly basis, and continue to follow-up with, motivate, assist, and edit for their writers throughout. Campus Cutie Editor Responsible for coordinating a well-planned and thought out schedule for the semester. Must train her writers how to write in the Campus Cutie layout and she must thoroughly edit their articles. Must contact the Photography Editor each week to coordinate a photo-shoot with the Cutie. Must always be on the "look out" for new Cuties and spread their diversity on the semester schedule generously.

Head of Photography Connect the writer to the photographer for articles, collect and assign photoblogs, and shoot any photography that has not been taken on last minute notices. Content Uploader Physically upload the articles to the Her Campus website (using a login and password you will receive). Content is sent to you directly from Editors, so you must always be refreshing your email. Sometimes includes reformatting the article or photography to make sure it is visually pleasing when posted on the site. PR Roles Campus Correspondent (Public Relations) Works closely with Nationals to continually improve and build the Wake Forest chapter. Oversees any events and PR initiatives sponsored by the organization and works with the treasurer to approve any expenses and plan the budget for the coming year. In charge of sending in weekly reports to Nationals as well as assessing page-views in order to see what promotion tactics are necessary. Creates close relationships with other campus organizations, particularly with fellow Media Board members. Attends all Media Board meetings. PR Director Responsible for brainstorming and organizing any and all HC PR needed throughout the school year. This includes events and basic promotion of the site. The PR director will have a committee to help with hanging flyers, doing dorm-storms, and whatever else is needed to ensure that HC is well publicized on campus. Events Coordinator In charge of planning and executing at least 2 events per semester centered on what Her Campus represents. Whether it be a speaker, panel, trunk show, or contest, the events coordinator must work closely with the CC PR to budget for such occasions. We are looking for someone interested in event planning and who is extremely organized. Assistant PR and Events Coordinator Must be present at all exec meetings to take attendance and meeting minutes. In charge of collecting page-view and circulation information from the PR Campus Correspondent in order to keep a thorough record of Wakes rankings amongst other HC chapters. Responsible for researching top chapters to get ideas of ways to

improve Wakes and helping the PR Director and Events Coordinator with anything they need. Assistant Treasurer Preferably a junior or sophomore who is willing to take over the role of treasurer next year. You will assist our current treasurer Jasmine in her respective duties, including budgeting, reimbursements, and SBAC planning. Social Media Director Responsible for frequently updating HC Wake Forests Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram accounts. These accounts are vital to the success of our chapter and are often checked by Nationals to ensure that they are active. Essential for PR.
