The Flowood Rotary Scholarship Fund Application Rotary is an International charitable organization comprised of professional and business leaders

whose goals are humanitarian service, high ethical standards and the promotion of goodwill and peace around the world. The motto of Rotary is Service Above Self.

The Flowood Rotary Club has been serving Flowood since 2003. The Flowood Rotary Scholarship Fund was created in 2011 to support the work of a local student who exemplifies Rotarys values of service and high ethical standards. The winner of this scholarship will receive a check for $500 to be used for books and other academic-related expenses. This check will be presented at a Rotary luncheon on Tuesday, May 7. Eligibility Requirements Applicant must be a resident of the Northwest Rankin Attendance Zone and a graduating senior of an accredited public high school, that has been accepted to an accredited 4-year college, 2-year college or accredited vocational training program. They must be able to demonstrate that they have reached out to others through community service or through promotion of world peace through international cooperation and understanding.
