A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood
On Tuesday 23rd October the Childminder and Parent Group visited Suntrap Forest Education Centre in High Beach, Essex. We went on a big bus, which some of the children thought was the highlight of the whole day!! When we got to suntrap we were met by Kerry, one of the staff there, who gathered us all together and explained that we would be working on a session based on the book The Gruffalo. It was our job to walk around the grounds and find the animals that were hidden in the trees and on logs. Every time we found an animal Kerry read us a part of the story!
Thurs 28 Feb - Barclay Stay and Play Group, contact Tracy 020 8518 7015 Thurs 7 March - Church Hill Coffee Time Group, contact Saheda 020 8520 4919

For some of you that answer is simply not at all, for some it is an Ill give it a try and if it works... and for others it is a no question, I am going to breastfeed my child. All these answers are shaped by your own experience, your culture and your ideas on how you would like to raise a child. If the need to breastfeed is a very deep one that is then met by failure (for a variety of reasons), the resulting hurt may stay with you for days, weeks or years.
To make matters worse women dont often get the support they need to deal with the problems or the loss of a breastfeeding experience and that is where I hope our Caf for breastfeeding mothers can make a difference and give you the information and support you need, wherever you are on your journey. Please come if you are pregnant and would like to find out more about breastfeeding have a problem or are missing some information the worst thing is sitting alone at home with the problems feeling bigger by the hour; you dont need to struggle on your own. are supporting a breastfeeding mother are breastfeeding and have overcome the difficult hurdles; your experience will be of great support to a new
mother or someone who is struggling with a particular problem. Nothing is more reassuring than a mother who has been there and come out the other end smiling! Lets create together a breastfeeding support network within our community, which will enable women to experience breastfeeding as it is supposed to be, enjoyable! I look forward to meeting you!
