Cinzia Daraio is Associate Professor of Management Engineering at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering Antonio Ruberti, University of Rome La Sapienza (Italy). Her main research interests include: efficiency and productivity analysis, economics of education, economics of science and technology, bibliometrics, applied statistics/ econometrics, industrial organization. She authored a monograph on Advanced Robust and Nonparametric Methods in Efficiency Analysis. Methodology and Applications, with L. Simar, published by Springer (NY) in 2007, and edited a collective book on Universities and Strategic Knowledge Creation: Specialization and Performance in Europe, with A. Bonaccorsi, published by Edward Elgar (Cheltenham) in 2007. She published several works in international peer- reviewed journals including Journal of Productivity Analysis, European Journal of Operational Research, Annals of Operations Research, Research Policy, Research Evaluation, Scientometrics, Science and Public Policy, Minerva, Cambridge Journal of Economics, and Applied Economics among others.
