Springfield Elections
At our AGM on April 28th, there will be vacancies on our church council, on the deanery Synod and for church wardens. These are great opportunities to be part of the decision making process in the church, and are open to all who are on the electoral roll. Please prayerfully consider whether you could serve by standing for one of these posts: do talk with Will or current members, then get your nomination on the forms at the welcome desk

New Year, New Electoral Roll

Every six years, we are legally obliged to rebuild our electoral roll from scratch, and this is the year. This means that even if you are already on the present roll, you must enrol again. If you have been attending Springfield for 6 months or more and are at least 16 years old, you are also invited to be part of our congregation and to join our roll. The electoral roll is the official membership list for churches in the Church of England, and being part of it entitles you to stand for office as Warden, PCC or Deanery Synod member and to vote at Springfields AGM which is fast approaching. Please do fill in a form at the welcome desk Deadline for forms: 12 noon on 12th April to the Church Office

Week of Prayer
Our Springfield week of prayer starts next Sunday evening with a compline style service led by Donna at St Pauls church. There is much to pray about, especially our church life as we look into starting new ministries. Cells are encouraged to take time to pray together during the week.

We are called to pray, and we find that the more we pray, the more we see God at work

SPRINGFIELD CHURCH IS PART OF

Pray for our church family Exciting news at the MiX Due to the amazing growth of the MiX we are making some significant changes to ensure that we can continue to grow and include all those who wish to come. Years 6 & 7 are now invited from 7 - 8.30 pm, while years 8 and above are invited from 8 - 9.30 pm There will be a shared time from 8-8.30 for everyone to mix and to enable us to speak to all of them together Wendy Samuel is also extending the time when parents can drop in for a drink to cover the whole time from 7-9.30 Its still only 1 to get in- or free for you and a friend on their first visit. All the usual suspects are still available: games, tuck, craft and of course relaxing & chatting

Space Academy
Can you help? Each year we have an amazing holiday club with over 200 children attending. We need a number of people, as part of a team, who can lead groups of children. It is a wonderful opportunity to invest in these young peoples lives Our first training date for the team is on 28th April from 1-3 pm after the AGM There will be lunch, so please let Chris White know youre coming asap.

For good relationships and safety. the MiX connect adult dropin this Friday, also changing to better overlap with the MiX All the preparations for our new toddler group on Roundshaw, and for Jayne Marsh heading up the team
