Synopsis

With over 2+ years of experience in the field of project management, I have gained an ability to lead complex projects within time, cost and quality. Developed an ability to handle risks and solving through mitigation and contingency approach. Over my professional career I developed skills on effective utilization of time and communication with people at all levels. Working with the people from different cultural background has helped me in understanding their working culture which is an added advantage in executing projects. With execution of 8D and CAR, I have proven problem skills and an exposure towards personality during critical times / failure. With the involvement in the sourcing activities, developed an ability to negotiate and evaluate quality systems of the suppliers. Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, Bangalore-India. Period: Oct 2010 to till date Two months (Apr-12 to Jun-12) of onsite experience at ROBERT BOSCH, Schwieberdingen, Germany Role: Working as a Project Manager in the section of Automotive Electronics. RBEI is a 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH which provides technological solutions and end to end Engineering in the field of Automotive, Industrial and Consumer goods and building technology. Responsible for accomplishing project objectives within the constraints of projects. Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan Responsible for monitoring activities and utilizing resources in an efficient manner Responsible for risk analysis and management and be focused on the delivery of customer value. Working closely with different cross functional team like Hardware, Software, Reliability and plant located across different countries to ensure the project meets customer requirements. To work in close cooperation with suppliers during project execution for ensuring smooth implementation.

Responsible to review quality systems and processes among different suppliers during sourcing activities. Responsible to visit the suppliers occasionally to review their manufacturing process and quality standards which should meet BOSCH Norms. To ensure the reliability of the product, often visit the validation/Reliability laboratory to verify the testing methods and limits. Responsible to take the ownership of 8D / CAR during failures. Responsible for monitoring budget in SAP system and updating the project status to the higher management on a regular basis.

Semcon India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore. (A SWEDISH, ENGINEERING SERVICE PROVIDER COMPANY). Period: Sep 2008 to Sep 2010 Role: Worked as a Senior Design Engineer in the field of Aero Engine and Automotive. Client: Volvo Aero Worked for Designing and detailing of Intermediate Compressor casing and all struts, Rear case panels, Firewall, Front flange, Outer and Inner ducts in an IMC Assembly of Cold Structure of an Aero engine keeping optimum design conditions and constraints. Package study, input study, effort estimation, scheduling, modeling, and Associate drafting. Communications with the Swedish counterparts in project execution & delivery. Client: REVA Electric Car Designing of B-side of the Exteriors of an Electric Car. Quality Assurance in all activities. Package study, input study, effort estimation, scheduling and modeling.

CSM Software Pvt Ltd, Bangalore. Period: Jan 2005 to Sep 2008 Role: Worked as a Design Engineer in the field of Aero Engine and Automotive. Client: GTRE (Gas Turbine Research and Establishment, Laboratory of DRDOGovernment of India) Modelling and Drafting of connecting Pipes used for K6-Engine as per GTRE Standards by Considering the Design constraints and Manufacturability. Preparing the project schedules, manpower plans etc. for ensuring completion of projects within stipulated time and quality norms. Interaction with material and machining vendors. Client: Tenneco Exhaust Systems Pvt Ltd, Australia Reverse engineering of the spring seat/strut assembly of an automotive using the CMM Data, parametric modelling and assembly of spring seat was done. The quality of the CMM data has been monitored for the close tolerances with the physical mechanical assembly. 2

Client: Comau (Large Fixture Design) company. Detailing of different components of welding fixtures of car assembly line. The assembly line consists of various stations like welding, painting, holding etc. Every station requires different types of fixtures and grippers, to support, locate, clamp and to perform operation. The detailing involves the detailing of the assembly and its parts with the required GD&T.

GTRE (Gas Turbine Research and Establishment, Laboratory of DRDO-Government of India) Period: May 2003 to Jan 2005 Role: Worked as a Design Engineer on contract basis in the field of Gas turbine Engine for Air and Marine applications. Modelling and Drafting of various casting components of Gearbox assembly to check the manufacturing feasibility

Indian Telephone Industries, Bangalore Period: May 2002 to May 2003 Role: Worked as Graduate trainee/Apprentice Engineer Work involved was Modelling of Terminal block and covers for the Electronic meter reading system, Generation of CNC program Using CAM software and then run the program in CNC milling machine for production. Work involved was modelling the Telephone Components like cover, base etc and then parts will be imported in CAM software and run for CNC program. Then the CNC program was feed into the Milling machine for the parts to be manufactured.
