Reflection Before I start to wirte about my reflection on this English language proficiency project or folio, I would like to say

some feelings regarding this semester life. I feel that degree course life is totally different from foundation course life, the amount of assignment have increase and the burden have become heavier for me, thus every person in the class lead a busy life. Now back to the main topic, I would say that the two hours of English language class have bring many benefits and enjoyment for me. First of all, this English language proficiency course have give me a chance to learn new grammar skills and revise my grammar knowledge. Although I get a band 4 in my MUET test, but I had found that my level of English language had drop gradually during my time in this campus due to the lack of English language exercise ,speaking and hearing. I feel so glad because I have the oppurtinity to polish my grammar knowledge and thus make myself improve. I used to get confused on some basic grammar, but throught this course I have make myself clear about the uses of each content of the grammar and make sure that I will not make the same mistake again. During the lesson, our lecturer madam Kam had use her own unique way to teach us about the English language knowledge that we need to learn and every person in the class seems to enjoy themselves during the process of learning. The lesson that I remember the most is the lesson where madam Kam taught and explain about the two different technique of reading , which is skimming and scanning. Madam Kam organized a small activity that involve the whole class by forming two circles, one inner circle and one outer circle, and the person who is in the inner circle must answer a question ask by the lecturer while the person in the outer circle listen to the answer and try to find out the main point. Through this simple activity, everybody in the class seems to fully understand the concept of skimming and scanning and bring joy to the class too. Besides that, we are also given a task to find and complete the exercise based on various grammar skills and topics. This coursework is a individual assignment, so everyone have to put their own effort on completing the task. I have tried to find exercise from various sources,such as reference books and by surfing the net. When I am doing the exercise, I treat it as a exam, because it is a test based on what I learn during the English language proficiency lesson. Althought I make mistakes in the exercises, but I try to learn from mistake and make sure I get it right on the next exercise. Through this process, I have learn a new way to improve myself to become a better person in life and studies. Lastly, I would want to thanks my classmate and my lecturer for giving me a wonderful time during this lesson. Every person should appreciate the beauty of language, because language is the medium that link people all around the world.
