Feasibility Study

INTRODUCTION:This project is made on the basis of distribution of salary of a company .Therefore; this project is named as PAYROLL SYSTEM. How accompany can maintain payroll system, these is shown in this project. This project does not show simple salary distribution .It shows all the contents e.g.H.R.A., D.R.A., insurance and income tax, which belong to three basis salary of the employees. We know that in a company different type if workers work. Some are on daily wages and they can be dismissed from the company at any time some workers in company work per monthly. Then, who the company will fix there basis salary, H.R.A, D.R.A, T.A, and insurance, this is also shown in this project. Next comes the concept of attendance, which many casual leaves and medical leaves are available to the employees and if any employee apply for leaves with out pay, then how the company will take decision about the salary of temporary and permanents employees.

Income tax is also an important concept in the pay roll system. This project tells us the condition about the income tax also which is pay able according to the yearly in come of the employees. Thus, this project shows the disobeying of day wise and also shows the yearly income of the employees. We have created this project in the excel work sheet .then, if we change the basis pay of any employees, then excel change automatically all the contents related to the basics pay of the employees. This show the main advantages of the electronic worksheet in excel. Also it plays an important role in the filed of pay roll system in any company.

PRESENTLY SYSTEM:In the BSNL telecom company have large man power but its work efficiency is low .in this salary is paid by manually by accountants. So we take some problems are:-

Salary preparation problem:1. Calculation difficult. 2. Timely not paid. 3. Search of record difficult.

4. Signature. 5. Mistake chance.

ALTERNATIVE SOULTION:Following are the alternative solutions of over comes the problem of the exiting:-

1. The first problem alternative to the problem is to increase the staff of the institution in order to speed up the work and paper monitoring of the system. 2. The second alternative is to shift the exiting system to a computer based payroll information system. The computerized system makes information retrial efficient fast and accurate & the required need of the information are minor in minimum time.

PROPSED SYSTEM:Keeping in view pros and cons of above alternatives, it is decided to shift the exiting system in computerized system. In computerized system calculations are made efficiency, faster, accurately and the required needs are met minimum time all the collocation and information are minted using the computer. Computer will accept input data from the user manipulates it processes it store it and gives the output information in the required from.

We have seen how the computerized payroll system differs from the manually prepared contents of payroll. It reduces paper work and save time.
