Spring into Action

Spring has sprung, its everywhere you look, from the weather forecast to the smiles on peoples faces! As soon as you start to see daffodils and crocuses pushing up through the ground, its a sure sign that spring has arrived. Those are just the flowers leading the pack, there are also tulips, and daisies. Flowers arent the only ones that come out of hiding during spring, after the cold of winter, youll notice more animals out enjoying the warmer weather and greener environment, everything from birds and butterflies to deer and insects start making their appearance. After the long dark winter, youll begin to notice spring is about the sunshine. God uses the spring rain to bring out the beauty in this season, and to nourish the grass and flowers. And of course, wherever theres sunshine youre bound to see more smiles! Its time to Spring into Action, while wearing a smile to refresh those around us. Springtime is a season when we see new life and growth, as a result of God working on our behalf. Lets take advantage of the spring season, and get involved in many ministries of our church. The Lord did not save us so that we can sit in the bleachers, and be a spectator. The Christian life is a team effort that requires participation. The ministries of the church allow you to touch the lives of others for Jesus Christ. Spring is also a great time to start attending Bible Study/Sunday School at 10 AM. Our Sunday School ministry is a vital part of our discipleship program. It allows you to connect with other people of the church, while growing in knowledge of the Bible. During the 10 oclock hour, we provide Sunday School classes for children, and nurseries for infants and toddlers. These are just a few of the ministries that are always needing volunteers. Talk with Pastor Fisher.

Soul Winning On Saturdays 10:30 AM

Our church family meets on Saturday mornings for our outreach program. Its an opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ publicly. We also visit absentees, sick, and shut-ins. We are always needing compassionate people to participate. We meet for a short organizational meeting before dismissing for our visits. Soul winning and visitation is finished around Noon.
