Set Induction (5 minutes) Sample question: 1. Teacher shows a tennis racket and asks the pupils to identify it. Contextual learning by drawing pupils previous knowledge. What is this? Have you ever played tennis? Which one do you like more, tennis or badminton? Pre Listening & Speaking (10 minutes)

2. Teacher shows a picture of Olympic sports. 3. Guide pupils to talk about the picture.

4. Pupils listen to the jazz chant. 5. Teacher chants and gets pupils to chant along. 6. Teacher repeats the whole chant and asks pupils to replace the words. 7. Teacher asks pupils questions on the jazz chant. Reinforcement through repetition Repetition through drilling
