On April 9, 2013 the Zambian government violated a court order and blocked the former President Rupiah Banda from traveling to Kenya for the inauguration of President Uhuru Kenyatta. This blatant disregard for the law not only means that President Michael could be held in contempt of court, but is also the latest indication of the politically motivated campaign of persecution against the democratic opposition by the dictatorial Patriotic Front government.
