HOW TO PLAY

Match Attax is a game for 2 players. Just like a real Premier League match, the aim is to beat your opponent by scoring more goals. Simple! Just follow these rules and tips and youll be a pro in no time.

 ick your team of 11 players with 3 substitutes. P Choose a manager and a referee for extra gameplay power!  Lay them face down in formation. Decide who goes first by flipping a coin. 

 OW TO USE H YOUR REFEREE

1 After your opponent has selected their
player and chosen to attack or defend, place your referee card on top of their player. 2 Select your player as normal, turn over the players and compare the ratings. 3 Remember to take 5 off your opponents rating!

WIN WITH 3 OFFSIDE PLAYERS OR 3 COUNTER ATTACK PLAYERS AND YOU CAN REALLY TURN A GAME IN YOUR FAVOUR! 1 Win with 3 OFFISIDE players = -1 goal for your opponent 2 Win with 3 COUNTER ATTACK players = +1 goal for you

USING OFFSIDE PLAYERS?

You can only include 3 offside players in your line-up!

USING COUNTER ATTACK PLAYERS?

You must use the following Counter Attack players in your line-up: 1 x defender, 1 x midfielder and 1 x forward

REFEREE

l You cannot substitute your final player l Only 1 Goalkeeper allowed on the bench

MANAGER
l  Managers can only be used once to boost a player from the same club l  Managers cannot be used to boost Man of the Match, Hundred Club or Limited Edition players

TOURNAMENT FORMATIONS
l  Only formations that fit the Play Pitch are allowed. l  Available Formations: 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 5-3-2, 5-2-3, 5-4-1, 3-5-2, 3-4-3

l S  huffle a team of 11 players in your hand l  The first player selects one of the coloured stats and challenges their opponents l Highest score wins the round l W  inning cards go to the back of their pile. Losing cards are placed to one side l T  he winner of the previous round always chooses first in the next round l T  he winner is the only player with cards left at the end of the game

MULTI-MATCH-UP
Multi-Match-Up is just like the normal game of Match Attax except now you can play with more than 2 players!
l All Players set up their teams just like a normal game of Match Attax l  The first player chooses to ATTACK or DEFEND l  All players select their cards in a clockwise order l  Highest card scores a goal and wins the round l  The player with the most goals wins the game
