Seminar Report Specifications
1) Textual contents must be neatly typed in one and half space on A4 size bond paper on both sides with LM= 1.25 , RM=1.25 , BM=1.0 and TM=1.0 . 2) The font details to be selected for various textual contents are as follows : Chapter heading 16 pts. Section heading 14 pts. Sub-section heading 12 pts. Normal text 11 pts. Font type Times New Roman. Font style Regular. Line spacing 1.5. 3) All figures and sketches and diagrams as well as the tables must be properly numbered chapter wise and the sequence in which they appear within a chapter. Further, these must be followed by the suitable captions. 4) All pages are to be numbered in Arabic numerals (1,2,..) 5) Abstract not exceeding one A4 size page is to be typed in single space. 6) One certified copy is to be submitted by each group of students along with CD (contains report, ppts, papers referred).

Guidelines for the preparation of the Seminar Report


1. Abstract Size of this should not exceed single A4 page typed in single space. This is expected to be a precise document of the entire report. It should introduce to the reader the basic objective of the work reported and how far this objective has been achieved with a brief, clear and precise description of the methodology of the said achievement. 2. Introduction The primary objective of this chapter is to introduce to the reader the various directive sources and expert interaction, if any , that led to the identification and subsequent selection of the task. 3. Literature survey 4. Topic Explanation 5. Advantages/Disadvantages 6. Applications 7. Conclusion This must include status report of completion of your proposed action plan or progress achieved by you. Any discrepancies need to be reasoned appropriately. Any further possibility of expanding the scope and objective of the project if any exists may be stated clearly. 8.
