RECRUITMENT OF SCIENTIFIC/TECHNICAL STAFF ON CONTRACT BASIS

ARCI is looking to engage the following Scientific and Technical Staff on contract basis to work on the time-bound project US-India Consortium for Solar Energy Research Institute for India and the United States (SERIIUS) sponsored by Indo-US Science & Technology Forum (IUSSTF), New Delhi. The staff may be engaged at different levels based on their qualifications & experience and placed in Hyderabad.

Desirable: a) b) Ph.D. in related subject from a recognized University Prior experience in synthesis and/or characterization of thin films,

preferably for Solar Cell applications. Familiarity with selenide thin film Solar Cells will be an asset. c) Published research work of high standard and/or good record of

patents granted/filed.

Experience: 4 years R&D experience in an area relevant to thin film solar cells in Industrial/Academic Institutions and/or Science and Technology Organizations. project US-India Consortium for Solar Energy Research Institute for India and the United States (SERIIUS) sponsored by Indo-US Science &

Technology Forum (IUSSTF), New Delhi. The selected candidates will be posted in Hyderabad. 15. The term of the contract engagement will be co-terminus with the Project (i.e. October 31, 2017) or earlier, purely based on the

performance of the candidate appointed. 16. The contract will be reviewed every year. Depending on quantum and quality of output during the year, as assessed by an Expert

Committee, the contract may be extended with/without granting a lump sum increment, or terminated. 17. Reference letters: The candidate is requested to give complete name, designation and full postal address with phone/fax & e-mail ID of

referees. One of the referees should be preferably from the current/most recent employer or immediate superior. The referees listed should ideally be closely familiar with the candidates professional work or familiar with the candidate as his/her professor. 18.
