Introduction

With rapid increase of workload and the operational system, a leading college computerized their total management system. The management includes teaching staffs, non-teaching staffs in their computerized system. The management handles the following working systems:

Admission of students Fee structure Teachers Information Class Teachers Reports

Objective of project

This project intends to introduce more user friendliness in the various activities such as record updating, maintenance and searching. The searching has made of record quit simple as all the details of the Student can be obtained by simply keying in the identification or SR No aof that student. The entire information has maintained in database or files and whoever wants to retrieve cannot retrieve, only authorization user can retrieve the necessary information this can be easily be accessible from the file.

Operational definition

With augment of technology, colleges are now running smoothly with proper functioning capabilities. The smooth working process of the colleges is possible because of the college management system. The project College Management System is made for managing the colleges information. To use of this project, it is easy to insert, retrieve, delete, and update the information. Like Student Record and Teacher Record. It stores all these information on two databases namely Student Database and Teacher Database respectively.

Hardware is a term given to machine itself and to various pieces of equipment. It refers to physical devices of a computer system, thus, the input, storage, processing, control and output devices are hardware. These are as follows: Processor: Pentium - V 2.0 GHz

 Our Project provides an easy way to keep the information of the student and the working staff in the record for the management.

The requirement of the software that provides an easy and suitable way to gather the information and to keep them in record is needed.

Conclusion

In the current era the use of computer system in every field is increasing day by day. The day is not far off when a person without the knowledge of computer would be considered an illiterate. Today when each and every field is being computerized weather it is in banking trade or commerce, hospital or police station, our project is a milestone for the school management.

Our project that is COLLEGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is flexible and dynamic and can be upgraded according to the changing circumstances and needs of time. This project makes the work of school management easy and fast. It saves the time and reduces the manual errors.
