Term Project:
One of the important components of this course Supply Chain Management is group project. The class will be divided in groups. Each group must complete the project and must give presentation in class. (i) Students will have to study any organization and its SC related activities and suggest recommendations for the effectiveness of its SC & related programs. (ii) They may assume themselves as a manager of an hypothetical company and devise a SC plan. (iii) Developing an SC plan based on in-depth understanding of derived demand and organizational needs. (iv) They may opt to do project on any organizations market plan in saturated, growing and declining market conditions.

Deadlines of the project:

Phase-I: Before Midterm class will be working in groups of 4 to 5 individuals, Topics will be assigned to them & they will search & get the research articles approved by the instructor. Then they will keep on reading the articles on periodic basis so that a better understanding could be established on a assigned Topic. Group which will outperform others will be rewarded & motivated accordingly. Phase-II: Once it would be realized that the desired understanding has been developed after going through a sufficient literature review then groups will be assigned the task of sharing their gathered knowledge with the class in the form of presentations. Phase-III: After Mid-term groups will be directed to the practical world of organizations. They will coordinate with organizations, seeking their mode of act & limitations keeping the topic in mind which was assigned to the before midterm & on which they have already developed a reasonable understanding through literature review. Finally they will give this activity a shape of term report & then they will present the report which will be a blend of both theoretical & practical knowledge.
