ABOUT THE COLLEGE The Motilal Kanhaiyalal Fomra Charitable trust was founded during the year 1995 by Late Shree Kanhaiyalal Fomra, with a view to promote the cause of education and to help the economically and socially under privileged students. SHREE MOTILAL KANHAIYALAL FOMRA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is an engineering college that aims to change the face of higher education. Established in 2001, the college aims to impart education that will thoroughly prepare students for a professional career in any field of their choice. Evidence of our hard work and commitment can be found in the fact that the college is certified with an ISO 9001:2008 certification for imparting quality education and the college is accreditated by NBA for CSE, ECE, EEE & IT branches. Located in the Thaiyur village near Kelambakkam on OMR (I.T. Highway) 35km from Chennai, the college is spread over a sprawling area of 25acres. The college offers 4 year degree programmes in Bio-Medical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering.
