Meeting date: Monday, march 11th Meeting time: 10:15am Meeting duration: 45 minutes Attendees: 4 The government representatives: Agnieszka Malyszko, Minister of Environment, tourism and social issues Nadia Samir, Minister of Economics The Holdev company representatives: Dania Khayche, the Finance Manager Thibault Meyer, the Project Manager Room: Meeting room 12 in the Ministry of Tourisms offices Agenda: Negotiating the possibility of setting up a tourist village in Mazingira by the Holdev company. As was scheduled, on Monday we have received members of Holdev company represented by Dania Khayeche, the Finance Manager and Thibault Meyer, the Project Manager. Before the meeting with Nadia Samir, the Minister of Economics and Agnieszka Malyszko, minister of environment, tourism and social issues, settled our position and presented the points, which were to be discussed. We found interesting to know Holdev's positions and objectifs. After a short ice-breaking talk, we started a discussion about the conditions of construction of a tourist village in Mazingira. We discussed all points planned, ie. construction of infrastructures, employment, promoting the culture of Mazingira, using our domestic products, interdiction of sex and drugs tourism, protection of environment. We succeeded to reach the agreement of many of those points. Below you can find the list of agreements. However, we had some problems with three of points that Holdev wanted to talk about: delivering fruits, selling alcohol in their hotel and gambling. Since the policy of our country has forbidden alcohol and gambling, this points should be discussed by the whole government. Holdev will be contacted as soon as we get the approval form our ministries. Respecting delivery of fruits, our producers need to be contacted in order to know the capacities of their plantations. Holdev also received the list of farmers to be contacted by themselves. We are satisfied by the points we succeeded to reach, but the negotiation need to be continued. Another meeting will be scheduled soon. Agreements: We will provide a ten-hectare space location near the beach in the east part of Mazingira. We agreed on reducing taxes on profit to 15%.

We will reduce electricity and water prices as long as the company preserves the environment (beach, jungle). Holdev agreed that our environment is important to their development. The company undertakes to build roads in radius of 10km from the village. The project will provide 30% of upper jobs and 70% of lower ones to mazingirans.
