RANGERS MANAGER RON WASHINGTON: On Tepesch: He was pretty good again today. The Mariners battled for at-bats today, they put the ball in play and found some holes; they hit some pretty good pitches. A couple pitches he threw were pretty good and they went down and got them and found some holes. Especially Seager, the first base hit he left one up, but after that he threw some good pitches to him. Morales caught a good one and Ackley caught a good one; you have to give them credit for swinging the bats at the right time. The bottom line is he kept us in the ballgame. We had a chance, we just didnt get the hit to make a difference.

On the Rangers hitting: We still have some guys trying to find their strides, no doubt about it. Pitching and defense have been keeping us in the ballgame but I know were going to start swinging the bats as a group soon. Its just weve got some guys trying to find. This pitching staff they have got over there in Seattle is pretty good. Definitely have some arms coming out of their bullpen, their starting pitchers can manipulate the baseball a little bit, they keep them in the ballgame. They dont play very many blowouts. We went back and forth; played a four-game series and it ended up that they won two and we won two.
