Duo Disc drive provides greater agility and better pool adhesion. Patented Finned Disc allows unimpaired cleaning over lights and pool fittings. Adjustable wheel deflector prevents hang ups in corners.
INSTALLATION
Installation:
Pool Preparation
1- Clean skimmer(s), filter pump basket, and filter. 2- Remove excessive debris from pool. 3- Close main drain. 4- Adjust return lines to point downward to ensure complete cleaning coverage.
If return fittings cannot be adjusted, replace the fitting with a type that can. Zodiac fittings: W90153 = 1 fitting W90155 = 2 fitting W24100 = Universal Wall Fitting
Installation:
Pool Connection, Dedicated Line
1- Attach the male end of the hose to the 45 Twist-lock elbow. 2- Connect the elbow to the Safety Vac Lock wall fitting. * 3- Angle the elbow upward towards the water surface.
INSTALLATION
Installation:
Pool Connection, Skimmer
1- Remove and store skimmer basket 2- Insert the valve cuff into the skimmer line and connect the FlowKeeper with the arrow pointing towards the bottom of the skimmer. 3- Connect the hose directly to the FlowKeeper valve or use the 45 elbow to connect the FlowKeeper to the hose. (Use the best combination to prevent the hose from kinking).
Installation:
Hose Length and Weight Location
1- Assemble enough hose sections to reach the farthest point away from the connection point, and then add two more sections. 2- Position the weight at the end of the first hose section, about 39 inches from the cleaner head
INSTALLATION
Installation:
Flow
Once the hose is attached to the wall or skimmer, prime the cleaner line by holding it to a return or forcing the complete hose under water. Keeping the hose submerged, attach the blue quick connect to the end of the hose. Click the Flow Gauge onto the connector and turn on the pump. The red indicator should be on 3. Flow Gauge
Too Low (0-2) 1- Check pool filter and baskets. 2- Verify that valves controlling the suction lines are in the correct position. Adjust as needed. Too High (4-6) 1- Verify that valves controlling the suction lines are in the correct position. Adjust as needed. 2- Lower the setting on the FlowKeeper. 3- Open main drain slightly to reduce flow as needed.
INSTALLATION
Installation:
Wheel Deflector (Optional)
The wheel deflector can be used to help direct the cleaner around steps and other obstacles in the pool. Attach the wheel deflector by inserting the end of the cleaner hose through the outer ring and push the C-clip over the first hose cuff.
Installation:
Cleaner Head
1- Remove Flow Gauge. 2- Submerge the cleaner in the pool. 3- When bubbles stop coming out of the head, lock the cleaner into position on the white quick connect to the hose. 4- Allow the cleaner to drift to the bottom of the pool so that the discs are flat on the pool surface.
DISASSEMBLY
Disassembly:
Removing the Hose
1- Press the upper portion of the white quick disconnect and lift the shoe off of the cleaner head.
DISASSEMBLY
Disassembly:
Removing the Diaphragm
1- Unscrew the handnut and remove. 2- Remove the engine assembly from the body of the cleaner.
3- Remove the thrust washer. 4- Unscrew the outer extension pipe from the cup assembly.
10
DISASSEMBLY
5- Gently bend and separate the inner extension pipe from the cup assembly.
6- Push the diaphragm out of the top of the cup assembly through the bottom.
11
DISASSEMBLY
Disassembly:
Removing the Discs
2- Pull the front disk back and locate the hook. 3- Release the hook from the body assembly.
12
DISASSEMBLY
4- Remove the skid plate from the body assembly. 5- Pull the rear disk away from the body assembly.
6- Separate the complete disk assembly from the body assembly by pushing the body assembly while holding the discs.
13
DISASSEMBLY
7- Remove the rear disc from the foot pads & front disc.. 8- Separate the foot pads from the front disc.
ASSEMBLY
Assembly:
Assembling the Discs
1- Place the front discs onto the foot pads. 2- Place the rear disc on top the front disc on the foot pads.
3- Align the grooves of the body assembly with the notches of the foot pads. 4- Slide the body assembly onto the foot pads completely.
15
ASSEMBLY
5- Pull the rear disc and insert it into the lip of the body assembly. 6- Install the skid plate.
Assembly:
Assembling the main body cover

ASSEMBLY
Assembly:
Assembling the Engine Assembly
1- Attach the diaphragm to the inner extension pipe. 2- Insert the inner extension pipe with diaphragm into the cup assembly.
3- Align the tabs on the diaphragm with the notches on the cup assembly. Press the diaphragm into place. While holding the diaphragm in place pull on the tube to seat the diaphragm.
Note: If done correctly a small portion of the diaphragm should be visible where the tube and cup meet. (see arrow)
17
ASSEMBLY
4- Insert and screw the outer extension pipe to the cup assembly. 5- Slide the thrust washer onto the outer extension pipe.
18
ASSEMBLY
Assembly:
Assembling the completion of the cleaner head
1- Insert the engine assembly into the main body housing. 2- Screw the handnut into the main body.
3- Pull the front disc back and locate the hook. 4- Insert the hook into the body assembly. 5- Assembly complete.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshooting:
1- Clean skimmer(s), filter pump basket, and filter. 2- Confirm Returns are facing down to the pool bottom 3- Confirm proper installation: Main Drain Closed Hose Length & Weight Location Pool Connection Flow Cleaner Connection. 4- Clear the diaphragm by removing it and cleaning. 5- Check for air in the system by looking at the pump basket while running. If there is a drop in the water level, or excessive bubbles are present, there is an air leak. Check hose connections, tighten all fittings and check o-ring at the pump.
Note: in some pools where the cleaner either doesnt climb the walls or it comes out of the pool, the flow may need to be adjusted from the factory recommendations. First confirm proper weight location and adjusting the flow as needed by watching the cleaner movement for 5 to 10 minutes.
