The TRB-PII series is the product of a series of refinements by our craftsmen to our TRB series.

Their exquisite bodies are crafted from light weight ash and your choice of flamed maple, ovangkol or buvinga tops. Finely sculpted for an ergonomic fit they incorporate through body necks with 35" scale lengths. Along with a pair of double-coil Alnico J-style pickups, a piezo-electric pickup is utilized to add the full warmth and depth of the bodys beautiful resonance. Active circuit tone controls include a 3-band EQ for precise sound tailoring, a Piezo Volume and Balancer that lets you mix the signal from the piezo and double-coil pickups, and finally a Master Volume. Precision tuning is accomplished with gold tuners while beautifully machined individual bridges anchor each string to the instrument.

The TRB series basses still offer todays leading bassists an instrument that is capable of transforming their visionary playing styles into reality. Available in 4-, 5- and 6-string configurations as well as a 5-string fretless model, all models (except the John Patitucci model) feature 35" scale bolt-on rosewood necks and ergonomically sculpted bodies of ash. Active electronics include an extremely accurate 3-band EQ for precise sound tailoring and tonal versatility. Designed to his exact specifications, the John Patitucci model features a custom sculptured body of highly figured maple, ash and alder. Attached to the body is a 6-string bolt on neck with a 34" scale length, double truss rods, custom neck inlays and gold tuners. Electronics feature an active 5-way control system that lets you get just the sound you want, right at your fingertips.
