$250 Textbook Scholarship 2013-2014

The Alumni of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Incorporated Alpha Lambda Chapter will award a textbook grant to entering and first-year male transfer students. The textbook scholarship seeks to ease the financial transition of incoming students into the Bruin world. Six gentlemen who wanted to bring back the first Latin Fraternity in the nation to UCLA revived Alpha Lambda in Spring 2011. Through hard work and dedication they managed to become brothers of this prestigious fraternity that enabled them to overcome barriers that only few can accomplish. After graduating, the Alumni of Alpha Lambda continue to find ways to help fellow Bruins and are proud to announce the beginning of the Alpha Lambda Alumni Network Textbook Scholarship.

II. ELIGIBILITY
A candidate for Alpha Lambdas Alumni Textbook Scholarship must be a FULL-TIME registered male Freshmen or Transfer UCLA Student for the 2013-2014 academic year. Any false information provided by applicants will lead to the termination of their application.

Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Incorporated Alpha Lambda Chapter requires recipient to attend one of its community service events within Fall 2013. Failure to comply with this requirement is grounds for rescinding of award.

NOTE: Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Incorporated Alpha Lambda Chapter is not responsible for technical difficulties that applicants may encounter. There are not exceptions to the deadline! Finalists will be notified by email and may be selected for a phone interview during July 2013. The textbook grant will be awarded in two installments, one at the beginning of Fall quarter and the second once the recipient fulfills the mandatory community service required by Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Incorporated.
