Theexhibitionwillexploretherelationshipbetweenthephotographerand thelandscapethroughaseriesofmonochromeimagesoftheIsleofMull.
Goodphotographersformaconnection,abondwiththeirsubjectmatter theyarepossessedbyit.Wildlifephotographers,forexample,developa detailedknowledgeofthebehaviourandhabitatsoftheirchosenanimalor bird.Landscapephotographersdevelopadeepunderstandingoftheplacesto whichtheyaredrawn.Theyunderstandhowthelightplaysonthelandscape atanyparticulartimeofthedayortheyear,wherethemoonwillriseandthe sunwillsetaswellastheeffectofwindandtide.Theyreturntothesame placetimeandtimeagain,yetstillfindnewcompositionsandfeelas exhilaratedasweather,cloudsandlightcometogetherasifitweretheirfirst visitthere.
