Working Sound System 2. Publicizing Events for the Conservatory Of the Fine Arts (COFA). 3. Organizing a Talent Showcase Event

1. The Sound System is an incredibly important machine in many events throughout the year. The sound system is often overlooked because it is present at so many events, but it is still a huge part of successful school events. Events in which the sound system is used include: Everyday at lunch, homecoming assembly, international food day assembly, asb elections assembly, end-of-the-year assembly, pep rallies, open house&cofa showcase, quad show, and any other events that require music/microphone use.

Assemblies Commissioner: As the Assemblies Commissioner for ASB, your job is pretty simple! Your job is to create videos for ASB events: Mr. Sunny Hills, Freshmen Orientation (maybe), and most importantly, the End of the Year Slideshow. You basically take pictures throughout the year of events that go on at school and create a short movie/slideshow for the student body at the end of the year. It may sound scary at rst, but it's actually a lot of fun allowing YOU to show the school what their year was like! Your job requires full commitment, great organization, and interesting ideas! For this job, you don't need to be a creative genius so don't worry! Just be well-organized, have good ideas, and optimistic! The End of the Year Slideshow allows you to show the school your great ideas and all hard work you put in. It'll feel great to be recognized :). Your Summer commitment is not as difficult as other commissioners. During the summer, you begin to plan your schedule when school starts. For instance, creating a schedule of the events that you and your committee needs to take pictures of. You also can start planning your idea for the slideshow! Make sure your idea is creative and memorable so the students and staff will remember it forever! During summer, you are also required to be committed in othercommittees, not just yours. Remember not to forget your part of ASB, not just your committee! Summer is one of the most memorable part of ASB, you really do not want to miss out.

PTSA Representative (1) As PTSA Representative, you meet every rst Wednesday of the month with PTA to inform the parents about ongoing events happening at school. Your job is to plan the Stag dances and the FIES fundraiser.

Pep Commissioner (2) As a pep commissioner, your job is to organize the back to school pep rally, homecoming pep rally, homecoming halftime show, homecoming court process, winter pep rally, battle of the sexes pep rally, and the t.g.i.o. pep rally. During the summer, you will have to work countless hours with your fellow asb members completing anything that must be done.

Junior Elections & Senior Elections (2 year position. Sophomores only!!!) As Junior Elections Commissioner, you will be responsible for helping the Senior Elections Commissioner with all of the various elections that we have at Sunny Hills. You will have to be ready to come to school early and take time during break and lunch to help during elections season. I mean, you need to be prepared to take over the job as Senior Elections Commissioner next year, right? However, being Junior Elections Commissioner doesnt mean you only handle elections; you will also be responsible for the Constitution Committee and Student Senate. As the head of the Constitution Committee, your job is to look over and approve (or disprove) the many club constitutions that come your way. Youll review the constitution with your committee, then describe it to the rest of ASB, and make a motion to approve it. As for Student Senate, its a way for ASB to get feedback on events and issues that affect our school. Your job will be to send requests to the teachers, create a roster of all of the representatives, and hold the meetings with the Senior Elections Commissioner in the PAC during 4th period, usually once a quarter. Sounds a bit intimidating, right? Not to fear! ASB and I will be there to help you out whenever you need it. As a part of ASB, not only will you be committed during the school year, but over the summer as well. We come for hours and hours on end almost everyday during the summer to prepare for OCLC camp. Its a lot of work, but its also a lot of fun! You get to know the rest of your ASB family and develop bonds that never break. Thanks for showing interest in ASB; Ill look forward to working with you. Good luck! As Senior Elections Commissioner, you will be in charge of mentoring your Junior Elections Commissioner through all the elections processes. That means youre still indirectly responsible for Student Senate meetings and club constitutions. More personally, youre in charge of all of the elections throughout the year: freshman, HC queen, ASB (including the assembly), class, appointed, LCM, and prom king. Youre also in charge of getting the holiday photo done, and putting together the collage of all the other ASB photos.

It is the most exciting and liberating job in ASB. Along with your co commissioner, you will get the chance to work with DJs, photography companies, & get hands on experience handling cash. Your job will be stressful at times, but we cannot stress how AMAZING this position is. As social commissioner, you will also be in charge of helping out at Lancer Night and planning the annual ASB End of the Year Banquet. Events include tournaments like volleyball, badminton, three point shoot-out, and dodge ball, so you will need to send out summons, gather the equipment, arrange brackets, hold sign-ups, and publicize each event thoroughly. Also as part of being sports commissioners you may EMCEE each event, and delegate separate jobs to your committee. In addition to intramural events, you will write all the sports announcements for all home games for each sport, it is your job to promote sports in the school! Summer Commitment: In the summer, as part of being a member of ASB it is your requirement to attend many summer workdays in preparing for camp. Workdays include drawing and painting backdrops for ASB camp. Also as part of preparing for camp our school will compete in the Volleyball Tournament held at camp so sports commissioners will have to hold tryouts for players and set up practices for the team prior to camp.

Boys Sports Commissioner (1) Being sports commissioner is a fun, rewarding, yet demanding job. Anything sports related in ASB will be your responsibility and you will also have to plan the various intramural events. You will be in charge of all the Flyers, Posters, the Marquee, Morning Announcements, decorating the dance entrance, and the homecoming halftime backdrop.
