Preston is an exciting and vibrant city with traditional values and a culturally diverse population, its nightlife caters for every age, taste and budget. Its diverse clientele and abundance of social activities validates Prestons determination in maintaining high standards.

Prestfest is funded by the citys Business Improvement District (BID) and organised in partnership with the Preston by Night group, made up of representatives from bars, entertainment venues, night clubs, restaurants and hotels across the city centre.

Discovering History in Preston
Meet at the Obelisk, Preston Flag Market for 7.00pm or this family friendly tour There are so many indications of Prestons history in our city its street plan, its markets, its burgess plots, its architecture, and of course signs of both the great poverty and wealth from the industrial revolution. However they are not always that easy to spot. Lets go on a journey of discovery around Prestons city centre and imagine life here from medieval times to the present day.

Meet at the Obelisk, Preston Flag Market 9.00pm for this interactive tour. Not suitable for children under fifteen Like most cities, Preston has its secrets, join our guide as they take you through the city centre and re-create some history horribles.
