The duties for this individual may include a combination of the following: The design and fabrication of mechanical housings for custom battery packs, adapters, and test fixtures; materials characterization (harness and tensile testing); rapid prototyping using a Titan FDM, vacuum forming, and injection molding; development of weld schedules; preparing reports and documentation; providing technical oversight and guidance for ongoing projects; and interfacing with the customer on new and ongoing projects.
Candidates applying for this position must have a degree in mechanical engineering; should be proficient in using SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); and should have experience with CosmosWorks or similar Finite Element Analysis package is desired.

Must have the following: Candidates must have the following: 1. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. 2. Experience or interest in innovative design and manufacturing optimization. 3. Strong written and oral communications skills. 4. Excellent attention to detail. 5. Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. 6. Experience with 3D CAD programs such as SolidWorks, Pro-Engineer, or Autocad. Preferences Prefer to have the following: 1. Experience with FeatureCAM or similar CAM program. 2. Expereince in fundamental electronics and basic circuitry. 3. Experience in testing. 4. Experience in quality control processes/procedures. 5. Experience in resistance and laser welding. 6. Experience with CosmosWorks or similar Finite Element Analysis package.
