Topic 1: Talk about ways to have a good health (cch gi sc kho tt) Everyone needs to have a good heath. Here are some ways to have a good health: First, you should have a healthy diet. You should eat more vegetables, fruits and less meat or fat food. Also, you should drink enough water every day, about 2 litres a day. Second, you should do exercise or play sports. You can spend about 20 minutes doing exercise in the morning or in the evening. If you have free time, you should take up a kind of sports such as swimming, playing football or tennis. It helps you have good health and relax after a hard working day. Finally, you should have a medical check up regularly . If you have any problems with your health, you should go to see the doctor before it gets worse. Topic 4: Talk about your job. (Ni v cng vic ca bn) When I was a small child, I always dreamed of becoming a teacher. And now, my dream comes true. I am a teacher of maths at Food Industry college in Viet Tri. I graduated from KHTN-HaNoi university 11 years ago. I have been working as a lecturer of Maths for 10 years. I'm quite busy with my job. I often have about 10-15 class hours every week. But I spend a lot of time correcting students' homework or prepare for my lesson. Sometimes I have to stay up late to do it. I somtimes attend some training courses to improve my knowledge. For me, being a lecturer is very interesting. Because my students who are young, active and funny. When students are interested in my lecture, I feel very happy with that Especially as a lecture, I can have a long summer holiday and I have much time for my family. In our country, teaching job is one of the most respectable. One thing I don't like about my job is that the salary is not very high. I like my job very much. I am trying hard to become a good lecturer. In the near future, Im going to continue my study to get Dr. degree If I pass this English exam. Topic 2: Talk about one of your close friends. (Ni v mt trong nhng ngi bn thn ca bn) I have a lot of friends, but one of my close friends is Hong, she is thirty-one years old. She is a lecture of Maths at Hanoi University of...., she is tall, thin and beautiful with her brown eyes, oval face and long hair. She is quiet but friendly which like. I first met her at a Math cimina at Ha Noi University of Science and Technology 5 years ago. We sat next to each other and we soon became friends. We have a lot of things in common. We are both lectures and we both like going shopping, cooking and playing table tennis. She is a kind person, she always helps me when I have difficulties in work and in life. We don'd live near each other, but we often phone or contact through e-mail. I am really happy to have her as my close friend. Topic 3: Talk about your house/flat. (Ni v ngi nh hoc cn h ca bn) I live in a house in Viet Tri city. My house was built 10 years ago. It is near the school, the market and the hospital. It has three floors. There are 8 rooms in my house: one living room, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, one kitchen and one studying room. In 3 bedrooms; one is for my husband and I; one is for my two sons; and one for my parents. The living room is on the first floor. It is the largest in my house. This is the room we like best because After dinner, all family members often sit to talk each other or watch TV there. There is a small garden in front of my house where I plant some flowers and green vegetables. At weekend, I sometimes invite my friends to come to my house for dinner. I and my family live very happily there.

Topic 5: The most interesting place you have been to. (Ni v ni th v nht m bn tng n) I've been to many places in Viet Nam but the place I like best is Da Lat. I went to Da Lat with my family. Da Lat is a city in Lam Dong province in the South of Viet Nam. We went there by plane. It took us more than one hour to get there. In Da Lat, The air was so fresh. There are 4 seasons in a day: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The second the hotel, the service and the food. We were stayed at VietXo hotel. It is a big hotel and the service was wonderful. I liked to eat vegetables and salads in Da lat. They are very fresh and special. And what I like most is the scenery. Each day, we went to see a new place. We visited Love Valley, Than Tho Lake, Cam Ly waterfall and The City Flower Garden. The place I like best is The City Flower Garden where I saw plenty of different kinds of flowers. They were very beautiful and colorful. We took many photos there. I think I will come back to Da Lat in the near future. Topic 9: Talk about your weekend activities. (Ni v nhng hot ng ngy cui tun ca bn) At weekends, I have a lot of free time, so I have time to do what I like. I usually get up late at the weekend because I don't have to go to work and my children dont' have to go to school. After that I usually clean my house, go shopping or go to studying room to read books. I usually take my children visit my relatives. Sometimes I go camping with my family. We often camp in the countryside because we like the fresh air there. We can enjoy cooking by campfire, eating outdoors and getting close to all the outdoor activities we enjoy. On sunday evening, my family often goes out for dinner. We often have dinner at "Coi nguon" restaurant. We like going there because the food is delicious and the service is good. On Sunday evening, we often go to bed early because we all have to go to work or school early the next day. Topic 15: Talk about your favorite television program. (Ni v chng trnh ti vi m bn yu thch) Now there are a lot of programmes on TV such as sports, music, film, news so on... The channel I love most is Discovery. This program is usually shown on VTV2 everyday at 8.30 in the evening. It often lasts about 45 minutes I watch it every evening. After having dinner, I lie in my bed and watch my favourite program. Of course, I start with the news. I really want to know what is happening in my country and in the world. Then I move to Discovery channel. Here I can see many different parts of the world. Also, I can enjoy watching many wonderful things of the nature and many secrets that not many people know. I learn many useful things that I can apply in my own life, too. Watching this program makes me very relaxed after a day of work. Topic 7: Talk about one of your hobbies. (Ni v mt trong nhng s thch ca bn) One of my hobbies is Watching TV. The channel I love most is Discovery. This program is usually shown on VTV2 everyday at 8 in the evening. It often lasts about 45 minutes I watch it every evening. After having dinner, I lie in my bed and watch my favourite program. Of course, I start with the news. I really want to know what is happening in my country and in the world. Then I move to Discovery channel. Here I can see many different parts of the world. Also, I can enjoy watching many wonderful things of the nature and many secrets that not many people know. I learn many useful things that I can apply in my own life, too. Watching this program makes me very relaxed after a day of work. Topic 10: (Talk about ) Your favorite liesure activity. (Ni v hot ng gii tr yu thch ca bn) My favorite liesure activity is play badminton I usually play badminton in my free time. To play it, we need a racket, shuttlecock and badminton net. The objective of the game is simple, that is to hit the shuttle over the net so that it lands in your opponent's court before it can be returned. You can hit the shuttle fast, slow, high, flat or low. The badminton can be played in singles or doubles. Everyday I have to do a lot of work, so I often play badminton at weekends with my friends. Playing badminton keeps me feeling well, strong, and young. It helps to reduce stress. It also helps to have a better sleep in the night.

Topic 6: Talk about your favorite sport. (Ni v mn th thao yu thch ca bn) These days, people are practicing many types of sport such as swimming, running, tennis, table tennis, badminton, golf and football, so on. My favorite sport is badminton. The badminton is a simple sport to practice. To play it, we need a racket, shuttlecock and badminton net. I like bicycles for some reasons. First, it is good for my health. I am very busy and I don't have enough time for physical exercice. Riding bicycle is a chance for me to do exercice. Second, it helps me enjoy the natural life. I can breathe fresh air early in the morning, ride in the sunshine under the blue sky and white cloud. I really feel so comfortable and relaxed. Another reason is that it helps to protect our environment because it does not cause pollution. It is important in big cities to reduce pollution. Because of these resons, I like bicycle most. Topic 8: The importance of learning foreign languaes. (Ni v tm quan trng ca vic hc ngoi ng) Learning foreign languages is important because of these following reasons: First, a foreign language gives you the ability to communicate and to exchange views with people all over the world. Second, when you travel to different countries for purposes of touring or studying, in both cases you need to know the language. When in another country, if you can communicate with the people there, life becomes easier. Learning foreign language helps you make new friends. Third, in a globalized world, linguistic skills are important for employment and career. The knowledge of foreign languages increases job opportunities in foreign companies. Because of these reasons, I think we should learn foreign languages. Topic 14: The disadvantage of living in the city.(Ni v nhng bt tin khi sng thnh ph) Among disadvantages of living in the cities, air pollution, traffic jam and high living cost are three main disadvantages. The first disadvantage is pollution. You see more and more people move to big cities to live and work. The number of traffic, companies, factories is increasing fast. This makes environment polluted by smoke from factories and traffic. Another disadvantage is the traffic jam. there are a lot of people and transports in the city but the roads are usually narrow and bad. One more disadvantage is that the cost of living in city is very high. Nowadays development of the city is faster and so the public services cost a lot of money. It is difficult for the poor and workers to live in cities. In short, living in the city may not be a good idea. Topic 13: The advantage of living in the countryside.(Ni v nhng thun li khi sng nng thn) Living in the countryside has a lot of advantages. First, the country is less polluted and the traffic isn't so heavy. We are healthier and we don't need to worry about your health condition because in the countryside the air and water are so clean. Second, In the countryside, we can enjoy the cool atmosphere and there are lots of green trees and flowers. In the country, we are free to walking in the forest and picking mushrooms (or hunting). Moreover, living in the countryside is cheaper than it is in the city. What is more, people in the countryside are friendly and simple. Country life is very peaceful and silent. In short, I like living in the country because I like the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Topic12: the most useful machine in the twentieth century. (Ni v loi my mc hu ch nht ca th k 20) In my opinion, computer is the most useful machine in the twentieth century. It is a wonderful invention with many applications in our life. First, computers can help human do works efficiently thanks to their high speed and accuracy. People use computers for work, learning, writing research papers and so on. Second, when computers are connected with internet, they become source of information. We can access to information relatted to our studies. There are many useful websites to meet our demands. We can exchange information with our friends and our relatives through email, chat. Nowadays, we are able to stay at home and take part in online courses. Third, computers can also be used for entertainment and games. We can relax by listening to music, watching fims or playing games on computers after working or studying. However, computers have some disadvantages. It is time-consuming and have some bad effects to our eyes. Topic 8: The importance of learning foreign languaes.
