General Information: In the course of rebranding the printer models 2150, 2250 and 2150S to the Tally models T2150, T2250 and T2150S following has been changed and adapted: - The printer model name has now a leading T (e.g. T2150S) - The plug and play string has now been changed fitting to the new brand and printer name - The driver now has been changed fitting to the new brand and printer name - The printers firmware now have been adapted fitting to the new brand and printer name Compatibility: The new printer model is fully compatible to the former model however these restrictions apply: - The Txxx printer now reports a different model name in the plug and play string - The Txxx driver recognizes the new Plug & Play string - The Txxx printers firmware has been updated (see Firmware changes) This new printer model can be operated with the old and the new driver as it is fully code compatible. UCL: The Unit Configuration Level (UCL) has been increased from 1 to 2. This information is found on the rating plate. Rebranding to Tally: The brand (Web panel, SNMP, Plug & Play strings) is renamed to Tally and from T2250 (T2150) to T2250_ (T2150_). Special Remark: The Plug & Play string has been completed with an underscore character _. This has been done in order to being able to distinguish legacy printers (T2150, T2150S and T2250) which have been produced till August 2006.
