Demonstrate the ease of programming the EVIC personal settings. EVIC should only be programmed when the vehicle is in Park. The system cannot be programmed when the vehicle is moving. Offer the customer help programming some or all of the personal settings in the EVIC. EVIC displays vehicle warning messages and controls different aspects of a vehicles technology. EVIC also allows the customer to personalise how some of the features or options on their vehicle willfunction. EVIC places important vehicle information right in front of the driver for a personalised and more satisfying driving experience.
During Demonstration
Show your customer the location and appearance of the EVIC display. Demonstrate the ease of programming the EVIC personal settings. Demonstrate the type of warnings EVIC displays by opening a door with the vehicle in the ON position.

EVIC with MENU, SCROLL, FUNCTION SELECT buttons common on Chrysler 300C, Chrysler 300C Touring, Chrysler Sebring and Sebring Cabrio, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Commander, DodgeCharger
1. Press the MENU button repeatedly until Personal Settings appears on the EVIC display 2. Use the SCROLL button to scroll through the available programmable features until the desired featureappears 3. Press the FUNCTION SELECT button to cycle through programming choices (on/off, yes/no, etc.)
EVIC with STEP, MENU buttons common on Jeep vehicles, minivans, Ram and SUVs
EVIC with SINGLE BUTTON found on Chrysler Sebring Sedan and Sebring Cabrio, Chrysler PTCruiser, Dodge Caliber, Dodge Avenger, Jeep Compass, Jeep Patriot
1. Press the MENU button repeatedly until Use Factory Settings appears* 2. Press STEP to choose the desired function* 3. Press MENU repeatedly until the desired programmable feature is displayed 4. Press STEP to cycle through programming choices (on/off, yes/no, etc.)
* Steps 1 and 2 may not be required for some systems.
1. Press and release the EVIC button until Personal Settings is displayed in the EVIC 2. Press the EVIC button to display one of the programmable choices (Personal Setting) 3. Press and hold the EVIC button, when in the respective display, until ON or OFF appears to make yourselection
