Lesson Observation 1 Teachers name: Slusari Alexandra Observers name: Cebotari Tatiana Topic: Artisanship Date: 10 of April Number

of students: 10 Class: VII B The lesson I have observed was on the topic Artisanship. At the beginning of the lesson the teacher put a clear set of aims to the pupils. She had a lesson plan which helped her to organize the lesson better. She used a lot of additional material. First of all at the beginning she involved pupils into the lesson by asking pupils about art. Pupils were active and answered all the questions. Then teacher presented the new grammar topic about the verbs Make and Do. Teacher presented the new grammar topic, then they practised it and at least they tested it by making up questions using make and do. After grammar, the teacher presented the new vocabulary about Artisanship at school and then they had to speak on this topic. The teacher gave some questions and pupils answered it with no difficulty. At this lesson the teacher presented a variety of activities and the pupils were very interested to make them. When the pupils made a mistake or they didnt know a word the teacher helped them. She was very kind to them and didnt shout at pupils, explain clearly the tasks. In general the lesson was great and all the aims was achieved, the pupils were active and they liked the lesson.

Lesson Observation 2 Teachers name: Slusari Alexandra Observers name: Cebotari Tatiana Topic: Sports Date: 17 of April Number of students: 10 Class: VII B The teacher started the lesson like usual by involving the pupils into the English lesson by asking some questions about their new topic. Then the teacher checked their homework. This lesson was based most of all on reading. In pre reading the teacher read the first sentence from the text and used the prediction method to see what can pupils answer. They discussed a little about all pupils predictions and then they began reading the text. After reading they did a series of exercises to check if they understood the text. The exercises were easy and they understood the task of it without difficulty. After reading stage, the teacher began with the students another stage, writing, where the class were divided in groups and each group had to comment a proverb related to the topic Sports. At this lesson the teacher have done a good job. Unfortunately The teacher didnt present a variety of activities, she based most of all only on the book. When the pupils made a mistake or they didnt know a word the teacher helped them. She was very kind to them and didnt shout at pupils, explain clearly the tasks. There were some misunderstandings to the group work but at the end it was solved. The teacher spoke clearly and encouraged pupils to make the tasks. The lesson was great and all the aims was achieved, the pupils were active and they liked the lesson.

Lesson Observation 3 Teachers name: Slusari Alexandra Observers name: Cebotari Tatiana Topic: Which Animal Is More Intelligent Date: 26 of March Number of students: 13 Class: IV B The lesson I have observed was on the topic Which Animal Is More Intelligent. The lesson begins with the bell and the teacher start it by asking questions about animals. First of all she presented the new vocabulary about animals with funny pictures. Teacher read every word and pupils repeated after her. After presenting the new vocabulary pupils practicing it by making words from scramble words, they did it individually and after that they checked. Then teacher presented the new grammar topic The Forming Comparative and Superlative Adjectives. The teacher explained the rules on the blackboard and the pupils wrote them in their copybooks with examples. For practicing and testing grammar teacher gave to pupils some worksheets to do with the new grammar topic. In this lesson all the aims was achieved, the pupils were active and they liked the lesson. The teacher spoke clearly and helped pupils were they needed.

Lesson Observation 4 Teachers name: Turlac Natalia Observers name: Cebotari Tatiana Topic: An enjoyable weekend Date: 19 of March Number of students: 10 Class: V A The lesson I have observed was on the topic An enjoyable weekend. The teacher started the lesson by asking some questions about weekends, about how they spend their time at weekends. Then they had to practice some pronunciation of the letter y. the teacher presented on the blackboard some charts with the letter y and its sounds and with some examples. For practicing and testing it pupils had to read a tongue twister as quickly as they can. Further the teacher presented them the new vocabulary of the lesson they practiced it by doing some sentences with it. After testing new vocabulary they revised the past simple tense. Teacher had some charts and remind them how to use past simple tense. For practicing grammar they made up some sentences using the affirmative, negative and interrogative forms of past simple tense. For testing grammar pupils did some exercises in written form then they checked it. At this lesson the teacher have done a good job. She used additional material, explained very well the grammar and the new vocabulary.

Lesson Observation 5 Teachers name: Turlac Natalia Observers name: Cebotari Tatiana Topic: Reading Together Date: 22 of March Number of students: 10 Class: V A The lesson I have observed was on the topic Reading Together. The teacher started the lesson by asking some questions about books. Before they began to read a text about Alice in wonderland, the teacher presented the new vocabulary with pictures that made pupils to remember more easy the new words. In this lesson they had here teaching reading. For pre reading stage teacher used the questions from discussion point. While reading they had to extract the main ideas from the text, and post reading they had to do a lot of exercises according to their text. So, after reading the text they began doing the exercises in the written form and then they checked it. At this lesson I liked when the teacher showed the pictures that concerned the new vocabulary and I think that this is very good, but unfortunately she didnt used so many additional material for this lesson.

At the beginning of the lesson the teacher put a clear set of aims to the pupils. She had a lesson plan which helped her to organize the lesson better. First of all at the beginning she involved pupils into the lesson by asking questions about animals. Pupils were active and answered the questions. Then teacher presented the new vocabulary with pictures. Teacher read every word and pupils repeated after her. After presenting the new vocabulary pupils practicing it by making words from scramble words, they did it individually and after that they checked. For testing vocabulary the teacher gave them to complete a crossword. Then the teacher presented the new text. In the pre-reading stage teacher gave some questions about the wildlife. Then Pupils read the text. At post-reading stage, pupils discussed with the teacher the text, the teacher gave them question and they answer eagerly. At this lesson the teacher have done a good job. In general the lesson was great and all the aims was achieved, the pupils were active and they liked the lesson.

At the beginning of the lesson the teacher put a clear set of aims to the pupils. She had a lesson plan which helped her to organize the lesson better. The lesson began with the warm up where teacher asked questions about mother. Then she began to present the new vocabulary. For testing the new vocabulary they had to fill in some sentences with the words from vocabulary. At listening stage all 3 parts of it were present. First they discuss a little about Mothers Day, then they listen to the tape recorder and at the end they discussed about how in other countries people celebrate Mothers day. At this lesson the teacher presented a variety of activities and the pupils were very interested to make them. When the pupils made a mistake or they didnt know a word the teacher helped them. She was very kind to them and didnt shout at pupils, explain clearly the tasks. In general the lesson was great and all the aims was achieved, the pupils were active and they liked the lesson.

At the beginning of the lesson the teacher put a clear set of aims to the pupils. She had a lesson plan which helped her to organize the lesson better. In warm up the teacher gave some questions about picnic. Then she checked their homework. When she told about their new topic she began to present their new vocabulary about picnic. Then they passed a text about picnic and at pre reading stage they discussed again about picnics. While reading they had to read careful and to be very attentive because at the post reading stage teacher gave them some questions to answer. At this lesson the teacher didnt present many activities. When the pupils made a mistake or they didnt know a word the teacher helped them. She was very kind to them and didnt shout at pupils, explain clearly the tasks. In general the lesson was great and all the aims was achieved, the pupils were active and they liked the lesson.

Lesson Observation 9 Teachers name: Sasu Anna Observers name: Cebotari Tatiana Topic: Miracle or Monster Date: 27 of March Number of students: 14 Class: IX A The lesson I have observed was on the topic Miracle or Monster. At the beginning of the lesson the teacher put a clear set of aims to the pupils. She had a lesson plan which helped her to organize the lesson better. First of all the lesson began with the warm up where the class formed 3 groups and they had to examine some news and to find the false one. It was very interesting and the pupils were very pleased. Then they had speaking. At this stage they discussed about the media, about its advantages and disadvantages. And they had to complete a table on the blackboard. After speaking about media they had

reading, and at the pre reading stage pupils had to watch a video about media in Britain and while they are watching they had to fill in some worksheets about newspapers in Britain. While reading they have to see the difference of a popular newspaper and a quality newspaper. And at the post reading stage they had to complete the worksheets about newspapers in Britain. At this lesson the teacher presented a variety of activities and the pupils were very interested to make them. When the pupils made a mistake or they didnt know a word the teacher helped them. She was very kind to them and didnt shout at pupils, explain clearly the tasks. In general the lesson was great and all the aims was achieved, the pupils were active and they liked the lesson.

At the beginning of the lesson the teacher put a clear set of aims to the pupils. She had a lesson plan which helped her to organize the lesson better. The lesson began with the warm up, where teacher put some questions to the pupils about the previous unit. After warm up teacher reminded to the pupils the grammar topics that they passed in that unit. Then they test it how they can with the help of some worksheets and when they finished they checked it. At this lesson the teacher presented a variety of activities and the pupils were very interested to make them. When the pupils made a mistake or they didnt know a word the teacher helped them. She was very kind to them and didnt shout at pupils, explain clearly the tasks. In general the lesson was great and all the aims was achieved, the pupils were active and they liked the lesson. In this lesson pupils revised all the material and got prepared for the test.
