MONDAY week #1

This lesson will be to introduce the students to what a leader is. Students will be able to identify good C15.5.1 explain the qualities of a and bad qualities of a leader and give leadership. examples of national and local leaders.

Make sure to pick up chart paper. Pick out markers to be used for lesson plan.

TUESDAY week #1 WEDNESDAY week #1

This lesson will be used to introduce students to the political parties in our country. Students will be able to C15.5.2 Name the two major political identify the differences and parties. Make 33 copies of Political Partie worksheet similarities between both of the political parties.

MONDAY week #2

This lesson is designed for students to think about propaganda and C15.5.5 Define propaganda and give why propaganda is used. Students examples. will be able to identify different examples of propaganda.

This lesson is to wrap up the unit plan on politics. The students will be dressed up as the important political figure that they researched early on in the unit plan and be able to give a short presentation on who they are dressed as, their political affiliation and what change (if any) they have influenced.

TUESDAY week #2

C15.5.1 Explain the qualities of leadership. C15.5.2 Name the two major political parties.
