The PTSA will provide some flowers on Monday, a luncheon on Wednesday, and a morning coffee/tea on Friday for our fabulous teachers and staff. I would like to encourage you to remind your students that teachers often most value a simple, personal note of thanks or creation from their students rather than a gift. And Renaissance students are certainly creative! If your family also wants to know what a particular teacher or staff member needs for the classroom or would appreciate , Debbie Lerner and I have lists of teacher favorites and needs. LWSD District Information

LWSD Parent/Community Survey Now Open
Every year, the district asks parents and community members to take a few minutes and give us feedback about how our schools are doing. The survey provides good feedback to the district on important parent concerns as well as what parents think we are doing well. This information is used by the district in its continuous improvement processes. Many of the questions are used for reports to the school board. Results are also broken out by school and provided to principals for use in their continuous improvement process. Parents and community members alike are invited to take part. More detailed information is available by clicking this link This year, the survey will be open from April 16 through May 13. Please take a few minutes of your time to help the district and schools improve by clicking this link: http://research.zarca.com/k/SsWYVTsSRQsPsPsP.
