Paper #3: Field Trips

submitted by: Julia Villanueva

1. Explain which field trip you think you will actually try to use.
The one I will definitely use is having a guest speaker come into the classroom, to teach students tips on how to be safe if a stranger approaches them. It is important they have these skills so they know how to handle themselves in a situation where they may be in danger.

2. What challenges did you run into during this assignment?

Since I did not attend school in Nevada, I didnt have a chance to experience the field trips that are available for students here. I had to rely on the list of field trips you provided on Web Campus. Also, it took me some time to find some quality virtual filed trips. A lot of the sites had errors on the page, or links that were no longer available, so finding ones that actually worked was difficult.
