Introduction Future authors you will all be putting together a book. It will be a book about American flags. Each author will be responsible for finding information about an American flag that you will choose. When the book is done each author will be presenting their page they created. The preamble is a great symbol to this nation just as the flag is. We will be learning the preamble in order to be able to recite it every morning.

The Task
Poster to be completed. Search for the corresponding information that relates to your flag. Have your poster ready to be put in the book
The Process 1. You will visit the first website in order to choose your flag. 2. You will visit the other websites to look for the information you will need. 3. Be prepared with scissors, glue, color pencils, crayons, and or markers. (I will also provide some) 4. You will need to put your information on the poster board and have it ready to help make the book. You will be responsible for visiting the pre-selected websites. Evaluation You will be evaluated by how accurate your information is. You will have more than one chance to see where it is located. I want to see that you put your time into achieving your assignment. Also, your project will need to be done on a certain day. Here is a template for the scoring rubric:

Conclusion In completing this webquest, you will learn information about that the history of the United States flag. You will also have more confidence in speaking in front of others. You will also exercise your reading and math skills. You will also not just learn the preamble for my class but you will need to know it later on in the future as well.
