Dear Parents,
It is summer vacation time again, a time to relax as well as fruitfully occupy the
children in various scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Keeping this in mind,
our teachers have painstakingly designed and framed interesting Project Work/
Assignments to be completed during the summer - vacation to encourage in-
depth learning, clearing concepts and preparing ground for improved
academic output.
As parents, kindly motivate and lend support to your children and ensure that
they complete the given work well-in-time and to the best of their ability. Your
encouragement can actually make a huge difference to the ultimate learning
outcome of these projects.
Please note the following:-
Make your child read many Hindi and English story books and childrens
Science magazines. Remember that this is the best time to write stories,
poems and articles for the School Magazine.
Encourage them to undertake creative writing (both in Hindi and English). You
can tell them to write their experiences about the vacations and maintain a daily
diary too. Even watching a good English Movie/ Play in the Sirifort Auditorium
can be fun for the kids.
To make them aware of their surroundings tell them to watch various
informative T.V. Channels like Discovery Channel, National Geographic
Channel, History Channel and Animal Planet.
Last but not the least, practice English and Hindi writing to improve their
hand writing.

I. Learn and write tables from 2 to 15 in P.C.
II. Make a beautiful scenery with different geometrical shapes. Make it on a chart paper using
coloured papers.

weather for a week and make a report of the weather in
the morning, at noon, in the evening and at night every
day (on A 3 size sheets / half chart paper).
3. 29 onwards Name any 6 medicinal herbs, paste them and write their
healing properties (on A 3 size sheets / half chart paper).

our thoughts, ideas and feelings clearly and comprehensively.
The richness and beauty of English language can only be appreciated and valued by
exploring the depth and vastness of the same. And what better time to explore, understand
and utilize the huge repository than the Summer Break a break from the regular mode of
