The reason that I think this book will be good for my research paper is because of how it list the guides lines for food, for most schools in North Carolina. This book starts by describing the different types of nutrients that children thorough teens are suppose have. It then shows proportions of the different food groups that are recommended for each age group. Once it explain this it then goes through different tier plans of nutritional foods ranging from needs improvement to superior. I think that this book will be beneficial to me in my research because of the different tier plans that it has for schools on the food quality they offer. I would be able to use this to ask our school the type of food tier it offers, to see if it provides more beneficial nutrients that are healthier for breakfast than other breakfast foods. This book will be good for my research because of all the information on nutrition it gives me. This book as list the food compounds like lipids, carbohydrates, proteins, and vitamins. This is good because I can then use this information to see how each of these nutrients affect different parts of the body. This book is an Encyclopedia describing everything about nutrition. This list information about different types of food, how they break down in the human body, to more detailed analysis about nutrition. The overall information is useful but I would pick the information about what nutrient is mostly used by the brain. I can use this to maximize my nice result and make sure I am getting consistent results. This book will give me details about different types of food, body parts, and how everything is used.

With knowing this I could use this for the foods I find to check the nutritional value of each one. This helps because it would be another way to break apart foods to see which ones are best and which ones are not. By using these resources I would use this source to get nutritional values that are not known.
