Firework Shows and the 2013 The Cascades Family Night Schedule

Sat., May 25: Giant Fireworks Show featuring The Steve Stokes Band, playing a variety of country music emphasizing the new rockin country music while still recognizing country classics. 7:00 p.m. show. Admission $6.00 per person; age 10 & under free when accompanied by an adult. (Rain Date: Sunday, May 26) Wed., Jun 19: Big Foot Bob and the Toetappers have been thrilling audiences in Jackson for over 30 years with a powerful, soulful sound. 7:30 p.m. show. Characters will greet the children. Wed., Jun 26: Jackson county native, Don Middlebrook and The Pearl Divers will be returning to the stage for an evening of Parrot Head rock. You wont want to miss this. 7:30 p.m. show. Characters will greet the children. Wed., Jul 3: Our Independence Day Fireworks show will be featuring Wynwood. Wynwood has been thrilling audiences in Jackson for over 20 years. The powerful vocalists and rhythm will make you want to get up and dance. 7:00 p.m. show. Admission is $6.00 per person; age 10 & under free when accompanied by an adult. (Rain Date: Thursday, July 4) Wed., Jul 10: Taking the stage is The Blue Hawaiian. This band is driven by Joel Bye, embracing the blue collar sound. 7:30 p.m. show. Characters will greet the children. Wed, Jul 17: TOPPERMOST is the most widely recognized BEATLES TRIBUTE BAND in Michigan. Not only does this tribute band look and sound like the Beatles but they relate to the audience the same was as well. 7:30 p.m show. Characters will greet the children. Wed, Jul 24: Jackson Artist Steve Berkemeier will bring the sounds of John Denver, Neil Diamond, James Taylor and more! 7:30 p.m. show. Wed., Jul 31: Halloween Celebration at The Cascades featuring Showdown will be performing magic for the

kids and characters will be on hand as well. Break out your Halloween costumes early and join us show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Wed. Aug 7: GEMINI writes and plays acoustic music for children and families with rousing sing-alongs, folk tales, and music from around the world. 7:30 p.m. Characters will greet the children. Wed., Aug 14: The Cascades Disney Night Extravaganza comes to the Cascades again this year. Music will

be featured by Karen Kidder and The Alibi Band. The band will be on the stage to share the magical sounds of Disney. 7:30 p.m. showtime, Characters will greet the children.
Wed., Aug 21: Airtight, led by arranger and keyboardist, Phil Tagland, features a wide variety of early Motown beats that shaped the future of music in America. 7:30 p.m. Sat., Aug 31: End of Summer Fireworks Show with live entertainment by ACT III, who have been popular in the Jackson area for over 30 years. This variety band promises fun for all ages . 7:00 p.m. show. Admission is $6.00 per person; 10 & under free when accompanied by an adult. (Rain Date: Sunday, September 1)

Saturday, June 1: Bob Schultz is an accomplished keyboardist, saxophonist, and arranger. His greatest strength, however, is relating to audiences with his powerful, soulful voice. His voice tells a thousand stories. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8: Airtight, led by keyboardist, Phil Ragland, delivers the sounds of Motown like no other. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15: Wynwood is a local artist that has been entertaining Jackson for over 20 years, they will be covering the top 40 scene. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22: The Greg Nagy Band, featuring writer and arranger, Greg Nagy, plays the guitar and redefines classic blues with a contemporary flair. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29: The Trent Harris Jazz Quartet with Trent Harris headlining this eclectic group of musicians playing cool standards and newer, complex pieces. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6: Sassy, from Adrian, Michigan, will be performing new country with a flair while paying strict attention to the classics. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13: Ian Stewart has taken Michigan by storm with his incredible acoustic guitar and a voice that captures the grit and beauty of his homeland, Wales. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20: The Brian Tucker Duo is bringing to the bandshell a ton of original material and a new hip twist to some of your favorite classics. They will not disappoint. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27: Johnny and the Aimcriers is a slice of a new line of music, known as Americana. Their traditional harmonies and electric flair promise to get you up and moving. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday Aug. 3: Blue Tuesday rocks like no other blues/rock band in the area. Whether you love great guitar or want to dance, this night belongs to you. Show begins at 6:00 p.m. Saturday Aug. 10: Songwriters in the Round with John Voelz This event features original compositions by Jackson County singers and songwriters, a wide variety of musical tastes and genres featuring John Voelz. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 17: ACT III will have everyone dancing with their rock and roll sound. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.

Cascade Falls is a wheelchair and stroller accessible facility with free parking, snack bar, gift shop, museum and restrooms. Pets prohibited inside The Cascades No coolers allowed inside The Cascades

Clean, well-maintained picnic and playground areas are adjacent to the Falls. Alcohol is not permitted in the park
