The Organisation XXX is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee which exists to advance the education, social opportunities, health and quality of life in XXX and the surrounding areas. The Project works with children, young people, adults and families and runs a range of services, including XXX. Job Description Working as part of the Projects Management Team you will oversee the day to day running of the office, act as the first point of contact at the Projects reception, manage the organisations finances and support the Manager in the development and administration of the Project. You will report to the Manager of the Project. Specific duties will include: Being the first point of contact for the Project and welcoming, assisting and directing visitors to the Project Maintaining the Projects buildings and facilities to a high standard Internal and external communication and marketing Being the Projects Health and Safety Officer Monitoring income and expenditure, assisting with budget management and maintaining financial records Preparing management and end of year accounts and monthly payroll Reporting to and managing relationships with funders Taking an active role in the Projects Management Team Reporting to the Projects Board of Trustees Maintaining and reviewing the Projects electronic and paper records and IT systems General administrative duties

Remuneration and Contract Remuneration is XXX per annum (pro rata XXX per annum) Fixed term contract, funded initially to 31 March 2011 Contributory pension scheme available to employees

Conditions of Service The key conditions of service are: Any appointment will be made subject to XXXs terms and conditions of employment Any appointment will be subject to a three month period of probation The post will be based at XXXs main office but there may be a need for the post holder to work from other locations The working week will be 30 hours. The post may require some evening and weekend work and time off in lieu is available for this work above and beyond agreed hours Annual leave will be 25 days per annum (pro rata) in addition to any statutory holiday
