The following pledges and anthems must be observed by standing with your right hand over
your heart:

The Star-Spangled Banner

Oh, say can you see by the dawns early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilights last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
Oer the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
Oer the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep.
Where the foes haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, oer the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the mornings first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
Tis the Star-Spangled Banner! O ling may it wave,
Oer the land of the free and the home of the brave.
And where is the band who so vauningly swore
That the havoc of war and the battles confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
For the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the Star-Spangled Banner, in triumph doth wave
Oer the land of the free and the home of the brave.
O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the wars desolation!
Blest with victry and peace, may the Heaven-rescued land
Praise the Power that hat made and preseved us a nation.
Then conquer we must when our cause it is just
And this be our motto: In God is our Trust.
And the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave
Oer the land of the free and the home of the brave!

The Americans Creed

By William Tyler Paige
I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the
people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a
Republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and inseparable;
established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American
patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my Country to love it;
to support its constitution; to obey its laws; to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Pledge of Allegiance to the Canadian Flag

I pledge allegiance to my flag and to the country it represents, I pledge respect and loyalty. Wave
with pride from sea to sea and within your folds, keep us ever united. Be for all a symbol of love,
freedom and justice. God keep our flag. God protect our Canada.

O Canada
O Canada! Our home and native land
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise
The true north, strong and free
From far and wide, O Canada
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee.
