Draw an Epicycloid of rolling circle 50mm, which rolls out side another circle of 150mm diameter for one revolution. Draw at tangent and normal at a distance of 40 mm from the base circle. [5] a).Draw a path of a ball which is thrown from ground level which reaches a height of 30 m and a horizontal distance of 60 m before return to the ground. Name the curve [2.5] b) The distance between two points on a map is 15 cm.The real distance between them is 20 km. Draw a diagonal scale to measure up to 25 km and show a distance of 13.6 km on it.[2.5]

Mark the projections of the following points on a common reference line, keeping the projectors 40mm apart. a) A, 25mm above HP and 35mm in front of VP. b)F, 35mm below HP and on VP c) D, 45mm below HP and 40mm in front of VP d) H, 20mm behind VP and on HP e) C, 35mm below HP and 40mm behind VP [5] 4.a) Draw the projections of a line CD 50mm long, parallel to HP and inclined to VP.The end C is 10mm in front of VP and D is 30mm in front of VP.The line is 15mm above HP. Draw a parabola in the parallelogram of sides 120 mm and 80 mm, take the longer side as horizontal base. Consider one of the included angles between the sides as 60 degrees.

A coil is unwound from a drum of 50mm diameter. Draw the locus of the free end of the coil for unwinding through an angle of 3600.Draw also at tangent and normal 100mm from the center of drum. A fixed point F is 5cm from a fixed straight line. Draw the locus of point P moving in such way that its distance from the fixed straight line is 2/3 times its distance from F. Name the curve. Draw the normal and tangent it a point of 4cm from F. [5]

Draw a hypocycloid of circle of 50mm diameter which rolls inside another circle of 200mm diameter for one revaluation draw a tangent and normal at a distance of 40mm from base circle. [5] 3. 1.A fixed point F is 50mm from a fixed straight lines draw the locus of a point P moving in such a way that its distance from the fixed straight line is equal to its distance from F. Name the curve. Draw normal and tangent at a point 35mm from F [5] 2. A roller of 40mm diameter rolls on a straight line without slip. In the initial position the diameter AB of the circle is parallel to the line on which it rolls. Draw the locus of the points A&B for one complete revolution of the roller. Name the curve. Draw also normal and tangent at a distance of 35mm from the base circle.
