: Parts Of The Body

CONTENT STANDARDS : 9.1 Recognise body parts LEARNING STANDARDS : 9.1.1 Able to identify and state parts of the head Forehead Eyebrow Chin Cheek neck

9.1.2 Able to identify and state parts of the limbs shoulder elbow knee

Learning outcomes : At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to: 1. Able to identify 5out of 8 body parts 2. Able to state 5 out of 8 body parts.

Induction set (5 Minutes)

1. Teacher plays the head and toes song 2. Teacher sing the song 3. Teacher asks the students to sing it together. 4. After singing, teacher ask what is the part of the body introduce in the song

Stage 1 (10 minutes)

Introduce to the parts of the head

1. Teacher shows the flash cards of the parts of the body

Technique : drills Therapy: speech therapy, visual therapy. Values : cooperation Teaching aids : flash cards

2. Student follow teacher to read the flash card. 3. Teacher spell the words at the flash card and read again. 4. Teacher asks the student to touch their parts of body according to the flash cards showed and say it out loud repeatedly.

5. Teacher asks each student randomly to state about their parts of body. 6. Teacher gives a flash card to each student. 7. The flash cards contain words and pictures. 8. Student need to find his pair, to match the word to the picture

Stage 2 (10 minute)

Introduce to the parts of the limb Limbs Shoulder Elbow Knee 1. Teacher shows the flash cards of the parts of the body 2. Student follow teacher to read the flash card. 3. Teacher spell the words at the flash card and read again. 4. Teacher asks the student to touch their parts of body according to the flash cards showed and say it out loud repeatedly. 5. Teacher asks each student randomly to state about their parts of body.

Stage 2 ( 15 minutes)

1. Teacher divide two group. 2. Each group will get one fishing rod. 3. Each group must go to the Pools Of Body to catch the pieces of parts of the body 4. Each team must complete the puzzle. 5. After the puzzle is complete, each team

Stage 3 (15 minutes)

Bingos Game 1. Teacher give each Bingo student a set worksheet of Bingo. 2. Teacher will make a call out about the parts of the body 3. Student will circle the parts of the body according to the teachers instruction. 4. The game end after student get one straight line on the bingo paper and consider winner. 5. Then, teacher give a set of worksheet paper 6. Teacher will pass the worksheet to each of the student 7. Student need to joints the unscrambled body parts. 8. Closure (5 minutes)
