R- Piece is targeted towards 9/11 victims, firefighters, rescue personal, and Americans in general. A-No bias is really shown. D-The piece urges mourning and sorrow for the firefighter. I-Where was this picture taken? How did the firemen die? Was he with the firemen when they died? G-The author opened up the side of firemen not usually seen because they are typically portrayed as fearless heroes. M-He more than likely felt the power of being moved by this firemans feelings he was expressing.

P- Hoover Dam aerial photo. Found on Wikipedia from January 6th 2006. A- No author given. It was just posted to wiki. R- Could be directed to people living south of the dam or just America in general to show how far we have come. A-The photo is kind of biased as to not showing how big the damn really is. It just doesnt really put things into perspective. D- The piece urges me to want to be more innovative to help society grow. I- I would like to see some information on how many people are benefited from this dam as well as how many gallons of water the dam holds back. G- I gained a little more appreciation for engineers and architects and see how much we benefit from them. Without this dam, inhabiting the desert would be nearly impossible. M- I think the author probably was motivated by the power that the dam creates by giving people the opportunity to live in the desert.

R-The photo could be targeted towards gun control activists, people for gun rights, or just Americans in general to attempt to sway their opinions. A- I dont think there is any bias created because it justifies our right to bear arms. D- The piece urges myself personally to support our constitution and protect our rights to own firearms. I-The photo is attempting to sway thoughts of guns by showing that this country was founded on and by guns and does a pretty good job of it by showing a document that is over 200 years old is still in use today to govern our people. G-The photo is a simple reminder to me that every day we take for granted some of our rights as Americans that many other countries do not allow. M- The motivation behind this photo I believe is all of the gun control debates that have been spiked recently in the media.
