Racism is the belief that one race is superior to another race, the comparison of two different races, but you see thats the thing, why do we have to compare? Why cant we just accept the fact that each one of us is good in his or her own way. I mean, Hindus are Hindus, Muslims are Muslims, Both of them are different therefore they will both be good but in their own unique way. Why do we have to start comparing, before being different used to be a good thing, now it just divides us and tears us apart more and more. We created this magazine because we feel strongly about this, and we want to put an end to racism once and for all!

Racism, Tearing us all apart, Bringing us down for who we really are, Making us ashamed of our natural colors, We are who we are, And we will not change, For we should be proud because we are ourselves, Why should we simply because others dont like us? Our view is all that matters , Its our turn to change the world, Lets make a difference, And put an end to racism once and for all! -Ashna Reddy For Further Details Please Visit: www.racism123.webs.com

Racism Starts Within Racism, Racism is a big and broad topic. So what is the real meaning of racism? Racism, is one race thinking that they are superior to other races. Its as simple as that. When you think of racism what first comes to your mind, well I have done some surveys and from that I found that pretty much for all of us the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word racism is black and white, and I am here to tell you that racism is not just black or white in fact racism happens in the small little things that we hardly even notice in our day to day life. Many of my classmate ask me this question practically every day: Have honestly ever committed racism? Well, I will not deny the fact that I have been racist sometimes but I will accept the fact that me and my group members are working hard at it and I am proud to say that we have made a huge improvement from where we were before. If you were to stop racism where would you start and I have found that many would start by going to school and giving speeches. This is no doubt a good method but before that dont you think we should start with ourselves? After all racism starts at home. I am sure that each of us has committed racism one way or the other. But you know, the past is past and the future is still to be decided based on no- one but our actions and if each of us could just inform 1 person a day about racism our future will be a better place for the future generation. So lets start today. The race to stop racism is on! - Ashna Reddy

Racism Awful Curt Idiotic Separatism Mean START NOW. WE WILL BE THE FIRST TO MAKE A CHANGE!
Racism is exhibited through many forms. Black and white, Men and Women, Hindu and Muslim etc. It is time we stop this and make not only India but the entire world a better place to be.

Pledge against racism "As a citizen of the world community, I stand with the United Nations against Racism, Discrimination and Intolerance of any kind. Throughout my life I will try to promote equality, justice and dignity among all people, in my home, my community and everywhere in the world"

from a 10 year olds view Racism is something 10-year olds usually cant do anything about but I have thought about it long and hard. I have decided that I want to make a change that makes a difference to this world. Racism is tearing our world apart. It is creating a belief in our mind that separates groups among all of mankind. While this is happening, we tend to forget that we are all humans. Therefore we are all equal, no matter what color or religion. We, as humans, are not doing anything to stop this. We never think twice before what we do. We never ask ourselves Is what I am doing wrong? We just go out and do it. An example where this was committed is when Barack Obama was elected president. There was a huge protest. People held up banners with rude slogans saying that he shouldnt be President because he is black. When this was going on, did we stop and ask ourselves Is it the color or the character? This reminds me of a quote by Martin Luther King. He quoted, I had a dream that my children will live in a nation where people will not judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Imagine you were the subject of racism, what would you do? Well there is one thing. Dont be afraid to stand up and speak out what you feel about racism. Remember racism starts within you. After all if you dont speak up, who will? Without Racism we will live in a free and true nation. A nation where we all stick together and we all have one voice, India.

Racism A prejudiced idea Curt concept Is destroyable and must be Separatism based on race Mean and distrustful to human society I, Yash Kothari, believe that racism should be demolished from our world. This concept of racism is a cause of the destruction of our society and is present in small actions. I will now state what I think racism is and how to stop it. Racism is extremely harmful as people are pre-judgmental about other races. This makes society tear apart and become a jumble of torn paper. - Yash Kothari

Effects of racism Racism is a big issue in this world. It affects our societies negatively in many ways. It is wrong to think that one's race is superior to others just because they look different or follow a particular culture or belong to a different religion. In my opinion all human beings are equal. The phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover" is truly applicable in this issue. The color of one's skin is only "skin deep" and beneath that we are all the same. People who belong to one race have much more in common with people from a different race than differences. We should not become prejudiced to someone based on how they look, where they come from, which religion they belong to etc. Rather we should judge an individual by his or her thoughts and actions.

If a society promotes racism in any way it can make the victims of racism turn angry, bitter or violent. It destroys someones feelings and separates our society into groups. If a child is born to a racist family he will become a racist because he or she would not know what is right and what is wrong. Educating people especially kids about the ill effects of racism on society can prevent a lot of the misconceptions that it creates. To create a world free of racism, people need to become tolerant with each other and welcome differences between them. To make the world a peaceful place to live in, we all have to ensure it has no place for racism in any shape or form.
