The Year Ahead

Well here we are again at the end of another year. The past year has been a year of cascading events that will continue to shape the prophetic, political, and economic landscape. We are now on the final lap of the race that will ultimately lead to the final harvest and the return of Jesus. To be alive in this hour is a great privilege which we must not waste. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Romans 13:11-12 herself ready. Revelation 19:7 The great lie that the enemy has sown into the church is that the bride will be made ready when Jesus returns. This lie has produced a deadly apathy and indifference that will be the undoing of many. The bride has to MAKE HERSELF ready before Jesus returns. This making of herself ready is not of works or self-improvement; it is by the grace and favour of the Lord, along with you and I beginning to walk in holiness before the Lord. We must put aside the works of darkness and put on the fruit of the spirit walking in righteousness and humility. God is not impressed with the gifts of the Spirit that you may manifest, He is only interested in how much you have become like His Son Jesus. God is love! Who are you?

To make matters worse, President Obama recently sold 20 F16 Fighter Jets to Egypt, along with a number of tanks. The senselessness of this is unbelievable and reveals where his heart truly is. Egypts increasingly unstable Muslim Brotherhood regime, voted into power on an anti-US and anti-Israel platform, is about to receive 20 F-16 fighters jets despite calls to suspend arms sales to Cairo, Fox News. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Mens hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Luke 21:25-26 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:20-21 The scriptures clearly teach that God will give us, in these last days, signs in the sun and the moon. The bible teaches that the sun, moon and stars are for signs. In the first book of the bible and the first chapter we read this:

The prophet Joel talking about the times in which we are now living said this: The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: Joel 2:10 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. Joel 2:30-31

A red or blood moon occurs during an eclipse as the moon passes through the earths shadow. When this phenomena occurs on a feast day in Israel, it is of great prophetic significance. The prophetic significance is intensified when two red moons occur. The last time that two blood-red moons on two following years occurred was in 1948 and 1950. This phenomenon again occurred again in 1967 and 1968 which was exceptionally significant for both Israel and the church. Two blood red moons in 1949 and 1950 heralded Israel becoming a nation which occurred on the 14th May 1948. This also was significant for the church as what became known as the 1948 Move of God began to get underway. This resulted in God raising up many healing and evangelistic ministries, such as Billy Graham, Oral Roberts, T.L. Osborne, Jack Coe, William Branham, and many others. The next time there were two blood-red moons was in 1967 and 1968 on the first day of Passover and the first day of Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles. Prophetically this marked the Six Day War in Israel which facilitated the return of Jerusalem into Israeli hands, along with the return of the Sinai and the whole 4 The Year Ahead

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS CANNOT BE OVERSTATED Some of the most significant prophetic fulfilments regarding Israel and the church will begin to unfold during these times. We are entering a period of profound significance both for Israel and the church. God is about to fulfil His plans and purposes and finish them in this generation. The confusion in the political arena and the current economic woes have hit the entire world and will continue to deepen as economies spiral out of control. We are now heading for another economic downturn in many nations. Wars will continue, along with many new conflicts. Some of these conflicts will be relatively minor but some will be more devastating. This will prepare the way for the rise of the

This is hard to predict without direct revelation from the Lord. What we do know is that these will be years of profound change, both in the church and in Israel. The major war prophesied in Psalm 8 and Zechariah chapter 12 may happen before these dates or maybe coinciding with these dates, but what we do know is that over the next three years the political and geographical landscape will be radically changed. This of course includes dramatic changes in the church worldwide. The final battle will unfold on at least two fronts. This generation will soon see the battle for Jerusalem played out and the great end-time harvest of souls beginning to be reaped. KINGDOM REALITY AND KINGDOM POWER The clash of two kingdoms, namely the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan, will continue to increase. Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, is about to be mirrored or reflected in the clash between the Kingdom God and the kingdom of darkness. As Dickens opened his novel with the sentence It was the best of times, it was the worst

of times, this also is true of the days in which we now live. Darkness and light will increase in both respective kingdoms. Travail is taking place in both kingdoms. Sinners are becoming better at sinning and the true righteous are becoming more righteous.

God will bring forth His new creation in its fullness. These sons of the Kingdom will finish the battle and bring in a brand new world. The true saints of God will possess the Kingdom. This world and its kingdoms were handed over to Satan by Adam and were won back by the atoning work of Jesus. He now waits for man, his Arise, shine; for thy light is come, people who are finally conformed to His and the glory of the LORD is risen image, to take this world back from the upon thee. This travail is seen as contractions which result in earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes and weather patterns wildly fluctuating, and it is about to get much worse. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Romans 8:18-19, 22
Who will ascend into the realm of the Kingdom and walk in both worlds, the heavenly and the earthly?

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. A NEW ERA 2013 marks the beginning of a new era. Not just a new year or decade, a new era. Change on many fronts will begin to happen this year. Promises that many of you have held and believed for over the years will start to be fulfilled from now on. The set time to favour those moving on in God has now come (Psalm 102:13). The sower is about to overtake the reaper. Much of the seed that has been sown throughout the last six thousand years is now maturing and will bring forth over the next few years. All the pigeons, as it were, are coming home to roost in this generation. This is true of both Good seed and evil seed. PRIORITIES WHAT MUST WE DO?

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. Leprosy is very contagious, and leprosy speaks of backbiting, slander and gossiping. The bible tells us that love covers a multitude of sin (1 Peter 4:8). God will no longer tolerate this in His church; he is going to judge it. You need to keep away from spiritual lepers or they will infect you. If you havent anything good to say then dont say anything at all. You either have a redemptive mouth or a destructive mouth. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. This statement is one of the most remarkable statements in scripture; you can bring life or death wherever you go by the words you speak. God is about to deal with His house, starting at the top. Spiritual leaders must set the example. If a priest finds leprosy in the house he had to deal with it. Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean. And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the mortar of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place. Leviticus 14:44-45 We are now living in days where God is about to deal with this destructive power in the church. Pastors who do not deal with this will find that it will destroy their church. The Lord will pull the house down. The bride has to make

herself ready and walk in the Godly characteristics of Jesus. We do not have a lot of time left; the finishing line is now in sight. Many this year will begin to see as Joseph did, that their troubles and afflictions will fall into the category of: The enemy meant it for evil but God meant it for good. It is a year of release for many. As chaos increases in the world, even so understanding and purpose will be released in the true church. We all need to talk a fresh look this year at the words of Jesus. If you have a New Testament with the words of Jesus in red type, it would be good to study what Jesus actually said and begin to practice what Jesus preached.

Matthew 7:22-27 Winds of change are now beginning to take hold in the world like never before. Life as we have known it up to now is about to change and we need to be spiritually prepared for the days that lie ahead. Psalm 91 describes the place we must live in, a place where we are truly connected in awareness to the Lord. Learning to know His voice and learning implicit obedience to Him and His word. This is not a time to be complacent; it is a time where we must learn to walk with the Lord in a much greater way.
