BHAICHUNG BHUTIA FOOTBALL SCHOOLS

COMPANY PROFILE:
Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools (BBFS) is a one-of-its-kind initiative by Bhaichung Bhutia, the talisman of Indian football, and is envisaged to provide a world class training experience at the grassroots to every talented child in India. We see BBFS as the first step towards becoming a professional footballer where the basic technical foundation for a player is built from a young age using state of the art coaching techniques. By leveraging Bhaichungs experience and network, we plan to provide the complete path and guidance to progress from an amateur to becoming a successful professional footballer.

BBFS was launched in November 2011 and in a short period of 1.5 years is already present in 6 centers across Delhi and Mumbai training over 450 students with plans to expand to Chandigarh soon. We plan to expand operations to 8 cities (20-30 centers) in the next 3 years and will have over 3000 potential footballers training with us. In addition, BBFS is constantly involved in various activities including free workshops in schools, coaching clinics for various social organizations to promote the football at the grass-root level across different social strata.

FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY: The Project at BBFS offers an ideal opportunity to impact a small but rapidly growing organization and to experientially learn about different aspects of running and growing a business: tackle real problems, plan and execute expansion, work on live leads and projects. There are 3 particular activities that we plan for the team to be a part of. Apart from these, how much the team is involved in other areas is totally up to the initiatives it takes! A. CORE BBFS ACTIVITIES MARKETING PLAN:

Devise and oversee implementation of a structured marketing plan for BBFS regular training centers both in NCR and Mumbai. This would have a direct, visible and immediate impact on the business. Key challenges will include taking into account

budget and operational constraints while formulating an effective and practically implementable plan that employs a combination of various low-cost marketing channels, which can subsequently be replicated in other cities. B. INTER CITY SCHOOL AND INDIVIDUAL SCOUTING CAMPAIGN:

In the pipeline is a country wide individual talent scouting program and school league. This initiative will be in partnership with two of the biggest corporate firms in the world as well as one of the top football clubs in Europe.

The team will be involved in developing operational processes to be followed at every venue and every stage. These will include both marketing activities and technical

processes. The team will also be involved during the actual activities in the Delhi leg of the campaign and others if travel is possible.

C. ALL-INDIA COLLEGE LEAGUE: This year BBFS will also lead a country wide college league so as to provide a platform for the best talents in colleges to progress towards professional football. BBFS envisions this connect to be key to the sports progress as only educated footballers have the necessary tools to give back to the sport post retirement. The team will be involved in every stage including planning, sponsorship procurement, execution and impact assessment post-activity both from a technical standpoint and a sponsor perspective.
