uk I am a pleasant, hard-working undergraduate studying Journalism at Leeds Metropolitan University. I am currently looking for work within the print journalism industry so as to increase my knowledge and skills in an area that I am passionate about.

Key Skills
Writing: I love writing; whether it is a short article or an extensive opinion feature on a specific subject. I have also had many articles published on my Universitys newspapers website particularly music reviews. My specific writing areas include music, sport, news and travel. Technical: My degree has enabled me to enhance my technical skills. I have developed an online blog and designed websites on Wordpress. I have also learnt to edit radio and TV packages using Final Cut Pro. I have a good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Teamwork: Teamwork plays an essential part within my part time job and my degree. I regularly partake in group work whilst at University; most notably for group presentations where each person has to play a significant role. However I also can show leadership skills, for example by delegating different roles within my group. In my job in a large caf we have to work as a team to ensure that everything runs efficiently and the customers are happy. Communication: Communicating is an integral part of my degree and something I have excelled at during my time at University. Seminar work plays a big role in my learning schedule; this can include working out case studies in groups then presenting back to the class and PowerPoint.
