ü Estimate and update of capital cost for some LPG equipments (for new planed LPG Plant)
ü Economic & Investment appraisal as well as Economic analysis of an integrated project
consisting of an increase-in LNG capacity combined to additional Extraction Units of Helium,
Ethane and LPG.

ü Choice between two Cooling Systems (Air Vs Water) for new LNG plant
ü Storage vessels De-commissioning (choice between repair or replace)
ü Comparison between two types of power supply (autonomous Vs external supply)

MARKET RESEARCH ANALYST, 1993 – 2003
ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

Collect and analyze the whole data required to the realization of the economic studies related to the
projects of development.
Created, managed and developed an economic databank: Collect and analyze world and petroleum
economic and market data from well known sources such as operational production rates, prices...Prepare
various reports and statistics, charts and graphs for management's review and appraisal.
Develop and carry out and initiate market research for the various products: research on products to
determine potential market outlets for existing, under construction and planned production capacities.
Follow up the feasibility studies of the projects worked out by the specialized structures.

Planning and Data Processing Division

Prepare pre-feasibility studies of joint ventures or investments as well as the economic evaluation of
projects. Produce reports and present the results for decision makers' review and appraisal.
Conduct a comprehensive financial model for new investment or for new venture that incorporates all the
relationships in separate sub models relating to income, costs, capital requirements, depreciation, profits,
and cash flows.
Judge the attractiveness of the proposed investment using criteria and approaches such present value,
ROI, IRR discounted cash flows... by considering both amount and timing of all cash inflows and cash
outflows sensitivity and risk analysis.
Performed feasibility studies for the fallowing projects:
ü Natural Gas Plants renovation
ü 600,000 tons/year methanol project (export oriented)
ü 400,000 tons/year MTBE gasoline blend and commissioned its market study
ü 16 million cub. meter/year helium project ( Joint Venture)

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION FINANCIAL DEPARTMENT, 1984 – 1988


LPG 4 million T/y Plant
I joined the new plant during the start-up phase with the following achievements:

ü Checked the level of the feed stock, filling rate of the installation, and the flaring for the first
product balance during commissioning -start-up phase of the plant.
ü Realized Plant break-down into costs centers and their codification.
ü Assisted and collaborated on implementation and computerization of a budget and cost control
system.

ü Prepared various cost performance and other management information reports to keep
