PURPOSE
Gasoline fuel products from the Yanbu Export Refinery will flow to an inline-type
blending system to automatically control the flow rates to blend various grades of
gasoline.
2.0
SCOPE
The scope of this document is to describe the process design basis for Product
Blending Facilities, Unit 157.
3.0
AFFECTS
This affects all personnel who are working on Product Blending Facilities and who
interface with this unit.
4.0
DEFINITIONS
Product Blending of gasoline for export will utilize inline-type equipment with real
time measurement of components utilizing a series of flowmeter streams to
automatically control the flow rates at proper ratios. Gasoline blending is expected to
utilize six metering streams with each metering leg sized to accommodate the
expected blend rate for the input fuel. Blending facilities are not included for diesel
product streams.
A flow diagram for gasoline blending is shown on 157-YER-PE-UFD-0001.
In addition to the blending facilities included in this document, export tanks and
pumps will be provided to transfer product to the NGL facility for loading and are
included in WBS 172.
